August 16, 2011, Disney Dream - Part 2

I figured someone would! Well, DH doesn't want to pay to have the tree taken away after Christmas. Now...remember...we get a 20 foot tree! Last year, DH decided to BURN....yes, BURN...our tree in our driveway! DS kept running in the house to the 2nd floor and then running outside. I finally stopped him and asked what was going on and he told me that he was seeing how high the flames were! WHAT???? Oh yeah, DH had a fire in our driveway that was HUGE! So, this year, DH decided to burn the tree again (because it went so well) but did bring it to the backyard. He cut parts of it up, lit it up and again....you could see the flames 2 stories high! I refused to watch any of it and tried to ignore him. Needless to say, the tree has burned and we do not have to pay to have it hauled away. As long as the extra money goes to Disney, I am fine with it!

Oh my gosh...I used to LOVE that show. It was so stupid that I couldn't help but watch it!

Yes, FIRE is totally right. Just imagine a very dried out 20 foot Christmas tree being lit on FIRE!

You'd probably never guess by my quiet interaction here, but according to friends and family, I'm a bit stuck (maturity wise) back in the time when that show used to be on!! The DIS, however, is not a very funny place so I promised myself I would behave on this thread! Last time around I used to find myself in hot water a lot!

Anyway - off to watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (which by all accounts is not accurate tonight as it has started snowing again!!!)....

I will totally and freely admit to all the stupid things that I still find funny! My DH thinks that I am rarely funny though.

I'm anxiously awaiting her feedback from the 3 back to back to back cruises she'll be on. Still waiting on reports on the corner 9A rooms and square 8A rooms.

How is weather ?

My looong Monday was even LONGER - as we had a bad fog ... It took us about 40 minutes to get home ; our dinner started at 10.00 pm.

Thank you Laura for the link - I'm not Italian but I love food too!

The weather today hasn't been too bad the temp was 4 degrees (thats in the 40's for the USA folks) but it was crisp and bright.

I had a great walk with the dogs. I also was brave and took Bella off lead she was sooo good. I must say cheese is a great reward She also retreived a tennis ball and was happy to play.

Last night was very exciting our friends dog was having puppies - IM sooooo tempted- well our dogs are our family
Gael the mum is doing great.

Im looking forward to some Florida heat -

Here we are in the 40ies as well , lots of fog , GREY day !
Marco and I live in Milano - we happen to have some lovely friends all over UK, from Nottingham to Swansea to Ayr ( DGH and I have met them on the DIS - Disneyland Paris - and are lucky enough to keep in touch during the year - meeting up from time to time either in Florida or in London or in Paris ).

Snow Day #4 here in CT...didn't get any notification this morning and had the kids all ready and in the car. Noticed that there wasn't too much traffic and then we see the empty parking lot... went back to bed.

On a side note, it's not technically a snow day, it's sleeting and freezing rain. More snow expected for Friday and then again next Tuesday. UGH!

Is anyone watching the Christening of the Dream tomorrow at 10:30 am? Can't wait.

It was 8o degrees down here today. So, I'm walking around in a tank top in shorts while packing for our trip to PA this weekend where the high will 20 and the low will be 5 degrees. 5 DEGREES!!! I've never been in 5 degree weather!
