August 16, 2011, Disney Dream - Part 2

I was able to watch the Christening of the Dream today! I thought that since I am at work I would miss it but I am working on a video project with a lot of "wait" time so I pulled it up.

I LOVE multi-tasking!

AWWW !! same with me !!

I had come home a bit earlier ... to watch the Christening !!!
BUT BAD PC would NOT allow me to go online !!!!
I was so !!!!

But after 3 hours I could watch the replay :



When the copter was flying all around the Dream ... and then the bottle was "fired" ... AWWW, I must say I had some tears !!!

I feel NOW WE ARE REALLY ABOUT TO SAIL !!!!!

What have you thought of during the Christening ? Were you excited ?!!!



I'll watch it again tonight , connecting PC with TV set - on LAAARGE screen !!

Still trying to get the video of the dream to upload. I don't know why it doesn't want to work for me.
I think I have to stop being on here so much, while I was at school today I was writing down things on the board for the kids to copy and I had to write the word destroy in a sentence. Well I'm half way through the sentence and one of the kids says "that's not how you spell destroy" I looked up and sure enough I had spelled it distroy. I guess when you are used to spelling dis every day it kinda sticks. The worst part was there was another teacher in the room with me so I felt like an idiot!

From one teacher to another...I feel for you on this one. I don't mind messing up in front of the kids so much but always feel stupid if there is another teacher there to witness the mistake.

Is it ever going to end?!? Seems like every 3rd or 4th day it's snowing or something! Did you guys have that lovely thick layer of ice on top of everything this morning?!

Yes we did. We were the only school district in the surrounding area who did NOT have a delay. The buses were running an hour and half late because they were sliding all over the place. I drive my kids to school and aside from sliding down my driveway pulling out of the garage the roads were ok (I live two streets over from their school). Calling for more snow Thursday night into Friday (5-10 inches) and then again early next week. I have no idea where we're going to pile up the snow

We did have a casulty from all the ice. Our trampoline enclosure is totally ripped. Hoping the actually trampoline survives. The kids spent the past two nights trying to clear it off because it was close to touching the ground with all the snow and ice on it. We're lucky because a lot of ice dams are forming on roofs and gutters and people are getting water in their house (including the family traveling with us). Not good!

I just logged onto the August 25, 2012 Fantasy meet board and saw that you joined that cruise. So welcome! It looks like we will be running into each other on both cruises!!!

BTW: I know of another family who will be on both cruises -- Jeff (aka Pudo)! Our families got to know each other on the Magic WC over Halloween and we all had oodles of fun.
