Candy, I'm so bummed you had to cancel the PC cruise. I wish I could have just stayed on the ship and stowed away! It seemed like the weather was just getting better as we were leaving, our last 2 days were the best out of the trip. Although I did read that they were not able to dock at CC so I guess the conditions must have gotten worse instead of better down there.

Yeah, I read that too. That must have been such a bummer to miss CC. I'm sure they weren't too disappointed knowing they had 14 more nights to have fun, and see the Panama Canal! Lucky cruisers! LOL

The temps. are awful here. I thought I would never say it but I'll take snow over these cold temps....any day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It was 0 here today!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!! I hope you all are enjoying your Saturday!!

Not much going on here. Just housework. I spent all day out and about with my mom yesterday for her birthday.

I am very excited. A cousin of mine from Michigan is coming down to Anaheim next month for a convention and my sister and I are going down there to meet her and have a fun girls night out. We haven't seen each other in years!!! I'm thinking DTD might be a good place to go!!

It is freezing over here. And to make matters worse a valve on our well-pump has failed and now Bruce has to make a path to our well-cap and the well company has to come out on Monday and check to make sure the pump is still working. Can you say this is going to be one costly fix??We may have to be without water for a few days.............UGH!!Luckily, my parents live close enough for us to go over their to shower and bathe!!

All in all it was a great trip, but I don't think I'd do it again mostly because of the timing of the trip, it is a pain to get ready for a big trip right at Christmas time and then with the snows that keept on comming through that was more stress since I was driving. I like the idea of a spring trip or summer trip, but fall is my favorite time to cruise! I also ran my first CC 5K while I was there and let me tell you guys it was HOT! Runnung down that airplaine landing strip is not easy, I don't know if I'll be able to hang this August.

Sorry you could not see CC with all the Christmas decs up WHY they did so ?
Anyway it looks like you all had a great trip !!!

AS for running at CC I can walk or bike ............ not much more I could afford in that HOT sun ...

Sorry you had to cancel your Panama experience !!
