Good Evening Everyone,,

Hope everyone had a good day. The girls went with Bruce and my father to see the Narnia Movie.. They really enjoyed it.

Well, except for the "last minute" items we are all packed. Once, they go to school on Friday morning I will pack up their stuffed animals, blankets, American Girl dolls, etc. and then we will be off!!

I can't wait to see their reaction when I pick-them up from school early on Friday and walk them to the car and there will be Bruce, and my parents and we are going to tell them that we are headed to the airport right then and there!!:thumbsup2:cool1::banana::):yay::woohoo::dance3::cheer2::flower3:

They are going to be so excited. Hope you all have a blast!

We decided to somewhat replicate the offerings at Goofy's Galley, and Pluto's Doghouse! So we made Turkey, mozzarella, and spinach pannini's, fresh fruit along with chicken tenders, french fries, onion rings and pizza. Then for dessert we made banana and strawberry smoothies and drank them out of our Disney Cruise Line smoothie glasses (except we didn't have to pay $10 each for them LOL)!

WOW !!! Your celebration sounds "rather" Italian !!! Those panini could easily become my favorites !!!!!! :thumbsup2

Hey Laura,

The packing has been done late @ night, I had planned on doing it during the day but with all of the snow days and more snow on the way it has to be done @ night-time only!! I pack a bit and put the suitcases right back into the closet in our bonus-room where we always store them so it is no different than usual!!:rotfl::lmao:

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 CLEVER wonderful Mom !!!!

:lovestruc Your girls are so fortunate having such a caring Mom !!!!

What a great feeling to have everything ready!! It makes the cruise seem that much closer!!
We have our flights, the hotel the night before the cruise, and we now just booked two nights after the cruise. The only thing we have left to do is figure out transportation!

WOW !! Wish we were so organized !! :goodvibes

We STILL have to book our FLIGHTS NYC to/ from Orlando - for August of course .

Any thoughts about which airline should be better ? :confused3

Do we need to book NOW ?????

Advice VERY MUCH appreciated !!!! laura :grouphug:

HAPPY START of the week to everyone !!!!

Wow--you all are really good planners. I am still working on booking flights to Orlando for our trip in March! (Prices have come down a bit, but I think the time to buy will be soon!)

These snow storms are just ridiculous! They've had 2 snow "delayed openings" since classes have started back at the university, and it's apparently been years since they had the last delay/cancellation.

My parents have been in FL this weekend--the weather was initially "cool" by FL standards, but since has been "beautiful"--so I wish more good weather for all of those traveling!

Oh my gosh, too adorable!!

Thank you

That Onion soup and :cloud9: souflè look so good !! To die for !!!!

;) Take a look !!!!!!!! laura

Interesting observation from this article below. I for one always prefer quality over portion size.

"While I did find the portion sizes to be a little smaller than on past Disney cruises, in terms of variety, presentation, quality, and taste the food on the Dream exceeded most of the meals I have ever had on the Magic or the Wonder"

This is my first time posting to the board. I (34) will be cruising on the Dream with my Mom(60), Aunt (62) and BFF (34) on the 16th and we all can't wait. It will be my 3rd DC, my mom and BFF's 2nd and my Aunt's first. We can't wait to experience the Disney Dream. That being said, on my past cruises, the fun at night is sparse. Totally get that most folks on board are traveling with kids and with all the great kid activities, night might be the only time Mom and Dad get to see them, but take this as an all call to come on out and have some fun. My BFF and I are tons of fun so if one night you want to get out we will definitely be tearing it up in one of the lounges. My mom and Aunt aren't slouches either!

See ya there.

Hi Welcome:thumbsup2

Its just DH and I so we'll probably see you around - DH doesn't dance so I'll be looking for a friendly face to boogy alongside lol (just read that back and it sounds scary - im not):rotfl:

Good Afternoon Everyone!!

Another snow-day here in CT!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2:cool1::banana::dance3::yay::woohoo::cheer2:

We are snowed in here in TX too. I live in Dallas/Fort Worth and this weather is sure messing up Super Bowl vistors..

We are gearing up for our MR DCL. Some navigators were posted a bit ago from the first one of this season and I devoured them. LOL.

Snow Day #7 here. There goes one day of our April vacation. :sad1:
The town next to us cancelled their Febraury break yesterday.:sad1::sad1:

We had a freezing rain day, as that's all it has been doing. So the kids are home again. Greenwich and Stamford went in, and had an early dismissal. My truck is all glazed over, and we are supposed to get ice for the commute tomorrow morning.
