BTW: I know of another family who will be on both cruises -- Jeff (aka Pudo)! Our families got to know each other on the Magic WC over Halloween and we all had oodles of fun.

Looking forward to both. This August will be a blast since it is our largest traveling party ever. Four staterooms linked with 7 adults and 7 children. I hope that Sasha moves from the Magic to the Dream, he was wonderful during our Halloween cruise.

Since we are at the DVC 7 month mark we were able book our Wilderness Lodge Villa rooms. We booked a one and two bedroom for 08/21 - 08/24.

We are going to Universal for 3 days before the cruise. We booked 3 days at the Comfort Suite at Universal. $80 a night with a AAA discount. We thought about staying "on property" at Universal, but the rates were $300+ per night. There are benefits to staying on property, but the cost outweighs the benefits so CIS it is.

The PassPorter authors have started a comprehensive Dream info page and blog after the recent media cruise. They are updating photos and videos almost constantly! They will also be on the inaugural next week so there will be more then as well!

There is also a PDF available there listing a handy foldable directory of the ship!

Wow! Thanks for sharing- it is so exciting seeing all the pictures! Just love the Cars theme! The food looks great...expecially the desserts!

Thanks! With the christening of the Dream and all the information coming out about it...it has been an exciting cruise week.

Haven't been on this board in a while, spending most of my time at the MR Wonder board...it is coming up in March. We are all shocked by DCL dropping Matzalan due to the violence in Mexico.

Looking forward to the "Dream" Cruise. Esp TWO Castaway Cay stops.

I can't remember if I posted or not on this site. My DH and I will be joining all of you. We have two sons 11 and 14 who would love to meet up with others their age. Looking forward to The Dream and keeping track of its first voyage.

Welcome! I grew up in Fairfax just off of Braddock Rd. so we're almost like neighbors I have a 10 year old, but I don't know if he would be in the same club as yours on the ship.

Disney has announced some new additions to the Fantasyland expansion which is already underway. Look for ... a brand new type of roller coaster with the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
That sounds so cool! I can't wait till they open the new fantasyland.
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will take guests on a musical ride into their mine. The coaster will feature a first-of-its kind ride system with a train of ride vehicles that swing back and forth as they move along the track. The ride will be accompanied by animated figures of Snow White and the Dwarfs.

We couldn't resist and we are going to be having one of our friends pups.
We have named him Caleb - yes- we r mad.

Well they r kind of like our children and they are so much fun!

We go on the 30th to see Caleb and the litter and will post pics as soon as we get them!

Can't wait to see the pictures of you new pup.

I am still here. FINALLY, feeling better. It was a looooooooooooong week here. First two weeks ago DH got into a car accident on the way home from work in a snow-storm. Well, that was the start of our bad few weeks. Then last Sat. our well-pump started giving us trouble and they told us they would be out on MLK day to fix it. Well, they came out and got stuck in the snow in our front lawn. So they had to have a tow-truck come and get them out of the front lawn.....Lets just say the front lawn is not going to look very pretty come spring-time.......Then on Sunday night. I had the worst pain in my tooth and went to the dentist on Monday and they said I needed an emergencey root-canal that the tooth had absessed.....UGH!! I was terrified to have it so I went to an oral surgeon to see if I could have the tooth extracted instead of the root-canal......No Luck...The surgeon did not want to extract it out!! So as luck would have it we had no school on Tuesday.......so I went to have the emergency root-canal on Tuesday afternoon in an ice-storm and needless to say they could not fix the well on Tuesday due to the ice-storm, so another day without water and having to shower at my moms house. I was soo scared to have the root-canal they had to give me valium and a few other drugs....Well, I had it done but it was terrible since it was soo absessed and infected..On Wed. they had to come and fix the well and we had a delay for school which was good since it allowed me time to rest since I was still in such pain. I am on antibotics now four times a day and today is the first day that I am feeling a bit better. Finally, on Wed. after DH missing a third day of work they were able to fix the well-pump, and it only cost a mear, $4,113.00!!!So we had to do laundry and shower at my parents house and eat there for the remainder of the week since there was still sediment, and chlorine in the well water. Every-hour we had to run a hose in the freezing cold outside for 8-10 minutes to try to clear the sediment and chlorine from the well-water. Today, we showered here and things are semi-back to "Normal." And on top of everything else the snow-blower broke and DH had to take it this morning with our friend to get it repaired. It will not be repaired in time for this upcoming snow storm. At least we got another day off on Friday. But it was fun to be home with still not much water....LOL!! Our plow-guy will have to not only plow the driveway but the walk-ways too.......So in short that was our week and that is why I was MIA!! Not a GREAT week by any means. But I do have some EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE.............I will share that in my next post...........HINT IT HAS TO DO WITH THE DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, some of you know that DH finally broke down and agreed to let us go to WDW for the twin's 9th Birthday. So we will be going to OKW for five nights with my parents.........SHHHHHHHHHHHHH, the twins do not know!!

We plan to pick them-up early from school and tell them when they get into the car that we are headed to the airport!!!!

Our friend works for DCL and is currently working on the DREAM....A few of you had the opportunity to meet her on our last cruise!!! She is GREAT!!

She had the opportunity to bring the Dream over to PC..........She has keep us informed about how GREAT and BEAUTIFUL of a ship she truely is...............

Well, she wanted to make sure that she saw the twins for their birthday and wanted to do something nice for them......Well, we are headed the morning of their 9th BIRTHDAY to the DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are going to get a tour of the DREAM and the twins will hopefully, weather permitting get to ride the AQUADUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! We plan on waking them up the morning of their Birthday at OKW and telling them that we are headed to PC to see our friend and not tell them that we are going onto the DREAM for a tour, etc.....until we get there and see our friend..................................................................This was the only good thing that happened all week.......I had to forward all of our passport information, etc....to our friend so she could get us "cleared" from DCL to board the ship for the day......................I am sooo excited. We were supposed to do this one other time on the Magic and then she got pulled into a corporate meeting so we are all keeping our fingers crossed that it works out this time. I can't wait to see this BEAUTIFUL ship and know that this will be one birthday that they never will forget!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She could only get the four of us onboard so my parents are going to drive down to PC with us and have lunch and hang out, etc...............................

I am glad you are feeling better. I know a root canal can be a pain both literally and figuratively. Plus, with all the other stuff that was happening makes for one horrible week. I hope everything is in working order and DH is doing well. Here is some for the upcoming weeks.

What great surprises you have in store for your twins! And, to be able to tour the Dream, how fantastic. I can't wait to hear what your impressions of the Dream are. From all of the pictures, she looks beautiful. Hopefully, you will be able to take some pictures and report back. Will you be able to get a sneak preview of your room? That would be fantastic.

DH's car is being taken in on Tuesday (hopefully if the snow holds off) by our friend who works at a car dealer-ship. So we will see..............

Yesterday, was the first day that I really felt better. A bit tired. But ok.....I need to be rested this morning I have five little girls coming over to work on their Science-Fair Project!!

Thank you!! We leave for WDW on Feb. 4th for five nights only..........................

My parents would have liked to join us but understand that our friend could only get four of us on the ship!! So no worries they are ok with staying and hanging out in PC for the day. They are BIG into photography so they will take photos, have lunch, etc!!!!!!I promise to take video and lots, and lots of photos....Anything, specific you want pictures of??
