Happy Friday everybody!!!

Question about Fish Extender gifts.... how many families are signed up? We're thinking about signing up -- I've been reading the posts, but haven't seen when the deadline will be. Any idea?

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well and planning, planning, and more planning!! I have been doing more lurking these days then posting. Work has been crazy!!! Not sure what happened nine months ago, but a lot of people were getting "busy". I am a labor and delivery nurse and we have been swamped, on to of that Joint Commission (who gives the thumbs up of thumbs down to hospitals) came to visit and they installed a new computer system!! all kinds of fun!!

Back to cruise stuff: We have our FE from our last cruise. Actually we have 2 (a halloween one and a non specific one)

I was just looking at excusions for the Bahamas and was thinking of the Blue Lagoon Beach Day. Is anyone doind this?? Has anyone done it before???

Just finished my fish extender. The no-sew instructions worked pretty well, but I think I'm going to hand sew the pockets and the part that holds the dowel just to make sure they're secure. I'm really happy with the way it came out though!

Update on Lanyards - We are now up to 111 and have met the minimum!! Yeah. I will take orders until June 11th to give me time to get them, mail them, etc. If you are unsure here is what they look like.

I am off for a 4 day weekend and am soooo excited. On Monday I am furloughed and everyone else has to go back to work / school

Thank you! I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the Dream has fish and starfish (or was it seahorses?) to hang FEs on. Happy Easter break to you too!

Amanda - Your FE turned out great! I think it is really cute and you did a wonderful job!

I plan on ordering a supply for my FE gifts this weekend. I have part of what I need to start working on the gifts but still need to get some more parts and then start putting it all together!

Thanks, guys! I worked really hard on it, so I'm very proud of how it came out. We have a few FE gift ideas right now, but we're waiting until we find out exactly how many families before we buy anything.

Hello Everyone! I am so happy it is Friday and I am ready for the weekend! Yesterday was totally exciting and fun....my school passed out the iPads to the students and they were so surprised! We had the local press (TV and newspaper), national press and many important people from the community there. We had an pep assembly and the students just thought that we were celebrating our grant award for all our new programs. After about 15 minutes of activities, loud music started and our staff did a flash mob dance - the students went WILD - and the dance ended with some teachers coming out with a huge banner that said "The iPads are Here!". That made the students go even crazier. It was all so exciting and I was pleased that all our hard work made the event go perfectly. I still have so much work to do but feel a huge relief that the big event is done.

I was absolutely sure about it !!!! I can "see" your students go CRAZY !!!
How exciting !!!!! You completely deserved such a success - after all the extra hours you put in preparing for the event !!!!!

I was just checking the availability on our cruise (as I seem to do a couple of times a day recently) and saw that a 1 bedroom concierge suite is available . . . for a mere $12,000. Now, if I could only find the extra $8,000 I'd need to pay for it, I'd be all set! Maybe the Easter Bunny will bring some cash in my basket? (A girl can dream, can't she?)

I wasn't sure what a Colomba cake was.... so I googled it and found that you can get a Colomba Limoncello Cake (a lemon Easter cake, classic Colomba and lemon cream). Cake WITH Limoncello (one of my favorite things in the world)?!?! YUM!!

Hello All!
I've spent the past two days baking for Easter. Still need tomorrow to finish up decorating my sugar cookies and making my first Easter Meat Pie (Pizza Rustica). Hope it comes out good, it cost a small fortune to make

Jen-Your rollout sounded like such fun. Must be very rewarding to watch it all play out. Good luck with the rest of it.

I believe I read Seahorses, Starfish and Fish? I think the Starfish are up on concierge.

Kids are at the town carnival tonight, and it's chilly. I went the other night and froze. Hope it doesn't rain on Sunday (tomorrow's not looking too good).

It is amazing the price increases. We booked this cruise "day one" back in 2009 and the Royal Suite was going for $12,200 so I guess we got a deal Can't imagine what they would want for it now if one came available
