Wow! It seems like I've missed a lot while I've been gone...

The move to PA was smooth. The kids love the new house, neighborhood, etc. We're still adjusting to the weather though. When does it normally start to warm up around here?

We'll be going to NYC for the day on Saturday to take my DD to the American Girl Store for her b.day. We're all very excited about that.

We definitely want to be a part of the FE Exchange. I'm not sure about the lanyards yet, we always end up with so many of them...I do like the idea of the shirts though. Will that still be something that people are doing?

Glad, that the move went well. The weather is going to take some getting used to. Normally, by April things begin to warm up. But I have to say this winter has been a bit "wacky.." It was pretty chilly this weekend too.....Hang, in there it will eventually warm up. But the warm weather does not lasttoo long here..

Your going to love AMERICAN GIRL and NYC....Did you make reservations to eat there??

Send me your information for the FE Exchange and I will add you to the list!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We woke up to snow on Sunday here in So. MD but it was all melted by the afternoon. Now, it is just cold and it will be cold for the entire week. I am still waiting for Spring to arrive. My allergies tell me that Spring is here but the temp says something different. I am hoping it warms up soon.

All the talk about Remy really makes me want to try it. But, I do not think we will this time around. I am really hoping for Palo brunch. We did not get reservations for our party of 6 last year. I am hoping to get reservations this year.

I cannot wait until it gets warm! It's almost April, but it's freezing.:sad2: Plus warm weather = closer to the cruise! :yay:

True, but the only bad thing about booking a late August cruise is that you want it to come BUT it also means the end of the summer :(

I booked this cruise on the VERY FIRST morning they opened for bookings. We have sme friends that are considering sailing with us and wanted to book a cabin on our Aug 16 sailing. WOW oh Wow have prices risen. Granted part of the difference is that now all that is left are balcony cabins and we have an inside...but stilll.

It is almost 3 times the price of our cabin.

Our inside and balcony rooms are more than double now, than what we are paying for them! It's crazy!!

Hey wait...Us Northerners move to Florida for warmth, this is a switch that you are moving North, WHY??? :confused3 It's cold and snowy in PA. What part of PA are you in?
But the good thing is you are so close to NYC, one of the best cities in the world with always something to do. CONGRATULATIONS on your move and wishes for happines always :thumbsup2

I too have many lanyards but it's nice when you walk around the ship with the DIS lanyards, other DISers know you.
Is it August yet?

My DH was transferred to Princeton, NJ. I moved to Bucks County, PA. Defintely quite a change for us...kids went crazy this weekend when we drove by a farm with cows, horses, and sheep this weekend on our way to Target.
:goodvibes

Unfortunately, we weren't able to make reservations because they were full. :sad2: So, we're going to have to find another place to eat. Does anyone have any suggestions?

When you go you can see if they have had any cancellations. That is how we got in one time.
