I did my research before we went and saw what just about every dish looked like beforehand. With few exceptions, just about all the staff in Remy had France on their name tags. Our server in particular was difficult to understand, was mixing french and english with very heavy accent. Other staff who also attended to us were much easier to understand but it was a good thing I knew what was going on from all the reviews I looked at.

The sommelier was great. You get an invitation the day before asking if you want to meet him at 5pm to taste wines prior to your meal. We didn't get to do that. At dinner, after we ordered, he came over and asked us if we needed any help deciding on wine. He already knew what we were having to eat. My wife only will have one glass and I shyed away from the pairing. I simply told him in general terms what we like and don't like in a wine and he picked the PERFECT one.

Just a reminder that it can be a 3 to 4 hour experience (the more you order, the longer it takes) so what we did was see the matinee of Believe at 4pm. There is only one seating at Remy, meaning the tables do not turn over. We had a 7pm seating and got out around 10:30. Both Palo and Remy don't start seating until at least 6pm. We showed up on time for Palo and waited a few minutes in Meridian before they sat us in an empty restaurant.

I agree with the others! I don't blame you for asking for payment before shipping them! I'm glad the minimum is 100, not 200. It might be hard to get an order for 200. Do you want me send you my email address?

It is also our first DCL cruise (we were married while on a Celebrity cruise and cruise 3x on Carnival while my sister worked for them) so I'm thinking Palo will be fine for us!

Happy Monday - Tomorrow we are another week closer

Well What a busy weekend! I'm still recovering from our adventures on Saturday - it was a very very very long day we left home with the dogs at 5.30am and did not get home until 10.30 pm Needless to say on Sunday I was in a trance!

Still it was worth it! Ben got the points he needed for his 25,000 platinum award and Gem well.. Ran first time out in the Comets ( our top team so no pressure there then lol! ) she was a star ! Did not make any mistakes and even did a sub 18 time ! She ran her little heart out!

Caleb and Bella both had reunions with siblings and it was great fun - despite being very hectic and non-stop

Im sooo in need of this holiday -

Wow! It seems like I've missed a lot while I've been gone...

The move to PA was smooth. The kids love the new house, neighborhood, etc. We're still adjusting to the weather though. When does it normally start to warm up around here?

We'll be going to NYC for the day on Saturday to take my DD to the American Girl Store for her b.day. We're all very excited about that.

We definitely want to be a part of the FE Exchange. I'm not sure about the lanyards yet, we always end up with so many of them...I do like the idea of the shirts though. Will that still be something that people are doing?

Hey wait...Us Northerners move to Florida for warmth, this is a switch that you are moving North, WHY??? It's cold and snowy in PA. What part of PA are you in?
But the good thing is you are so close to NYC, one of the best cities in the world with always something to do. CONGRATULATIONS on your move and wishes for happines always

I too have many lanyards but it's nice when you walk around the ship with the DIS lanyards, other DISers know you.
