Oh my goodness, Nancy! What a nightmare. I'm with Susie...I would have been soooo stressed out. I'm no good in situations like that.

That would be great to all cruise again..hey I still have those packets of tic tacs that I never got to you all.

While I wouldnt be totally against taking DSs out of school yet, Id rather not do it. they are actually missing 2 days in December, but a week is a different story. That is why we like the last week in August, going into Labor day..usually thats value season and the kids dont go back to school until after Labor day.

What a busy summer you have had Susie. Good for you for going camping. And Vegas must have been great. I would love to get there some time. Congrats on being an Auntie!!!

We still have one more trip to take...heading to WDW next week. The 4 of us are going and my Mom and 1 of my nieces are coming along too so we are getting exctied for that.

Well, we just got GREAT NEWS too - my oldest brother's daughter gave birth to twin boys. That makes me a GRAND AUNT. They live in North Carolina. What a double blessing!!!!

Wish they were closer so they can be spoiled. Cecilia took swimming lessons this summer and enjoyed her school summer camp. She is gearing for her first hula competition this labor day weekend at the Terrace Theater in LB.

Can't wait to go on another MAGIC'al cruise again.......maybe we will see you all again.

Hi there Susie (& all) - this is so weird you just sent this out....i haven't signed on in soooo long - and just as i entering my password, your note came thru about going shopping in Gilroy....YES you will be in my neighborhood - although we're on the northwest side of town....have a great time....i think i'll be scrapbooking on Friday and Saturday - working on our Italy trip which we took last month - and my hubby even went! it was awesome! FYI - Cecilia celebrated her 11th birthday at California Adventure Mickey's Halloween Treat - it absolutely a blast plus lots of candies, free games, live entertainment and lines to the rides were just right (minimal waiting). I would give it 2 thumbs up.

Hope you are enjoying your holidays.

We spent Christmas (and my birthday) in WDW and just returned last night. It's tough to be home, especially since we are getting some snow today....OUCH!

Still waiting on those summer of 08 cruises to come out...hopefully soon in the new year.

Katie...must have been wonderful to spend your holiday & your birthday at wdw. tell us all about it!!

us...we just hung around here. my brother & sister-in-law came into town (from up north), and we had a very cozy family christmas. next week, we're taking our DSs to disneyland. and no snow here! it would be nice to get some snow...i guess cuz we don't get any. but i'm sure for those who get them quite often, it's not a pretty sight, huh? i feel so bad for people stranded in denver...huge snowstorm.

anyways...best wishes to you all for a wonderful 2007!

Here it is 3 months from our next cruise...have to say that i'm so disappointed in the thread for that cruise - there are so few people connected....i know the ship has to have more DIS'ers on it than those subscribed...maybe they just haven't found the thread yet...but not sure if it's going to be the great group we had on our cruise together....UNLESS you all get on board for the April 7th Western Caribbean....YEAH that would be the best!!!! Will definitely miss you all for sure - but still really looking forward to our second cruise~

Judging from the rumors I've seen flying it looks like the Magic may be going back to CA. If they do I hope they do different ports this time. I'm not sure we will go but I really don't want to wait until 09 for another 7 day cruise.

oh i hadn't heard that rumor...that would be cool!! We would probably try to do that too....but we're also cruising '09 for DS' HS grad - will do the Eastern then....but i really don't mind cruising 3 years in a row!! Let us know if you hear anything more concrete on the '08 CA cruises.....take care Nancy!

There is a thread in the cruise board about summer 08 cruises and someone did a search and found permits that Disney had filed for use of Port Angeles terminal 5/08-9/08. I'm kind of hoping that if the Magic goes to CA (which is better than the Asia rumors I've heard) that the Wonder may do some 7 night cruises. The 4 night cruises are just toooo short.

wow...how exciting to be going on another cruise! we have one booked for dec 2007. it just seems so long way from now! oh...i do hope it comes back to the west coast. that would save us some $$ on airfare!! we'll just have to wait & see. i haven't really been on the cruise board lately...but have been frequenting the creative boards, mainly under the swaps, and also the disneyland board.

anyways...hope all is well with everyone! and Brenda...you have to let us know what different things are on the magic, when you go! we need to live thru others, while we stay home!

Yes, that permit is making me think the Magic (or Wonder) will go back to CA in 08. I'm another one who rebooked for 11/07 (dummy date) in hopes of a 7 day Carribean in 08. We arent quite sure what we will do if CA is indeed correct. We could go out there again, or if the remaining ship does some 7 nighters in the Carribean we could do that, or we are also thinking of back to back 3 & 4 days cruises to get 2 days at CC. For me the main thing I want on the cruise is beach time and the cruise experience so the 3 & 4 might be the way to go...but I keep changing my mind. I guess its just back to more waiting.

Christmas in WDW was great...although rainy. During the trip we did MVMCP, the CP, and got to see most of the Epcot storytellers. I love all the special Christmas happenings that you can't do other times of the year. And we loved the new Nemo show in AK. The new Nemo ride at Epcot is cute, but the new show is really awesome. We also went offsite on Christmas Eve to see the Patriots play Jacksonville. That was HUGE for the kids!

Since that snow I talked about in my last post our weather has taken a turn for the better. We were up to 70 degrees yesterday! This has been a crazy winter, but I'm not complaining. For it to be January and still have bare ground, is wonderful up here.

To those of you with cruises coming up soon, happy waiting! We want to hear all about them while we wait for our 08 ones.

We "are" getting exciting now that it's within a few months...seems like this wait time was less than the first cruise...this is actually the cruise we booked onboard back in Aug '05 - so the wait has been a long time - but i guess i spent most of last year looking forward to Italy and planning all of that, i wasn't as focused on this cruise till now.

I will definitely give you all a report when we get back...and we will all need to chat about the '08 cruises in Calif if they indeed do that....

Susie....did you ever get to the Gilroy outlets? if you ever do - please call me...would love to have coffee or lunch~

OMG - i can't believe you all braved that !!! My DS' friend went and told us how crazy it all was....not something i'd ever try....went once on July 4th and was amazed HOW MANY people were there...it was crazy so i try to shop there during low peak times
