Yeah, I dont know much about Pirate night excpet the obvious...its themed around Pirates. pirate: I'm sure that was very helpful, huh? ;)

We are doing Palo on Thursday/Semiformal night, but you may not want to miss that either. The way I'm looking at it is if I can get the kids all dressed up and get good pictures on formal night, then I dont mind missing semiformal. DH and I will be dressing up for Palo anyway. Plus the menu that I *think* is served that night (unless they have changed it) is the least appealing to me so I dont mind missing the food. So, thats my reasoning for choosing Thursday, dont know if that will help you much.

Yikes! I thought I double posted so I deleted my post, but I dont think it was a double after all. I think I'm getting excited talking about this,LOL!

Anyway, have you guys checked out the few Navigators that are up on all ears?

We solved our possible character breakfast/ massage conflict and changed the massage until Thursday afternoon. I feel much better, LOL!

yeah, i sorta checked it out. not completely! good thing you solved your character breakfast dilema! i'm hoping not to get a particular rotation, since it'd conflict with my brunch! but, trying not to think about it & stress over it! oh well...

still trying to figure out what time to get to port...been reading what others have been posting about their experiences. kinda feels good that we're going so late...but it's a long wait!!

will chat with you soon! :flower:

haven't decided yet. have to see what's available at party city! doubt my DH will be interested in that! maybe just the kids. been really busy at work, so don't really have time to go looking for pirate attire! (yet! but as soon as it settles down, i'll see...) it'd be fun! an early halloween, kinda.

2 more months! yay!! :flower:

My children are going to be dressing up. pirate: I called Party City and they siad that they will not be getting costumes out until late Aug early Sept. so I got online and did a search. I came up with alot and fairly priced too, I ordered DS10 one.
My DD14 has a costume from a last year and I need to check and see if it is going to still fit her she wants to wear this.
My DH and I have matching tropical shirts and the kids have one too but they want to dress up. So hubby and I are going to probably wear those. If you decide to dress up check online you can find some good deals. :wave2:

I have some shell jewelry and found some real gaudy earrings at Target. I have my tropical shirt and the bandana they will give us. DH said he should get his ear pierced. I offered to do it for him but he was less than enthusiastic.

My parents came home from Bermuda last week with tshirts for DSs. They have pirate skull type things on them so I think they will wear them that night. Nothing too fancy. ;)

Is it too early to start packing yet? :) I've started throwing things I want to take but won't need before into my carry on!

LOL! It is had to believe 2 months from right now we will be in Disneyland, getting ready for the big cruise.

Usually I am an early packer and a planner, but I have been very busy lately and havent had time to really plan anything. We have a quick trip in July to WDW before the cruise trip and I have nothing done for that one either. This is so not like me! Usually I would have stuff packed.

Havent' packed yet...but i've been purchasing items :) I'm ready to pack!!!

Is pirate and tropical night the same night or the same thing?
I was planning on wearing a scarf and big earrings for pirate night
and I was planning on wearing a tropical dress for tropical night.
Are these two separate events ?

i believe they are on the same night. i think they switched it to pirate night, in lieu of tropical night, but people still wear tropical attire...(so i've read! correct me if i'm wrong!!)

hey, we have the same excurison! same time & everything! i read it somewhere! how exciting! :flower:

I am so happy that we have the same excursions. Our ds's will have a great time and will be able to play and be buddy's in the kids program. :) We have to make sure we meet on the first night. R U doing the Cabo beach break also?
Thanks for the info about the pirate night.

Hi Janae: I have been caring for my parents, they were both hospitalized recently. They are doing better but they are still weak. Dad(81) and Mom(79) - they were both in the hospital at the same time with the same respiratory virus. Plus I, too am fighting the flu virus.

Thanks for the info about the pirate night.

i kept forgetting to ask my DH about transfering pix online so the boys can at least get to see who their friends are! maybe i can just email it over as a file? will work on it! i've mentioned Trey to DS3, but you know kids, he was like "who?" so yes, we need pix!!

no, we're not doing the cabo beach break. we do have something scheduled, but am thinking of cancelling and just going on our own? haven't decided yet. i have around 2 months to decide, i guess. i know DH wanted to check out the costco there.

which stateroom are you booked into?

it's nice to see people you "know" on other threads. i get so excited when i read something, and i notice that one of you guys are on it!!!! it's kinda fun, like seeing friends all over the place!

will chat with you soon! :flower:

i'm sorry to hear about your parents! i'm glad that they're doing better, though!! and you need to take care of your flu virus as well. get lots of rest before the cruise, cuz you know you'll just have a blast! :flower:

Oh goodness, yes, get healthy and get everyone else healthy before the trip. :)

I went over the kids Navigators with Cameron(8) and OMG, he wants to do everything. A huge change from his last Disney cruise when he refused to go to the club. He was 3 1/2 then, LOL! He is usually the shy one who doesnt want to do stuff like that, but the events really have him excited. As much as I want him to go, Ill feel guilty if he spends too much time there, LOL!

Colton, my 5 year old is just like yeah, whatever.

Happy 2 months, everyone!!!! :cool1:

You have 2 months to get health. No one is allowed to be sick on our cruise :). It's exactly 2 months from today!!!!!

It's be 90 degrees everyday for the past week. I'm really ready for this cruise. DS went over the teen navigators over the weekend (our first cruise as a teen). I guess it will be a learning experience.

Hi Alohatee.

Glad to hear your parents are doing better. Take care of yourself. Drink plenty of liquids and rest :flower:

Thanks for the website information. My dd ask if you can say hi to Cecilia. :)
