Wanted to pop in and wish everyone a safe and enjoyable 4th of July!!
Hi Everyone,
We just booked this cruise. I am Lori and will be traveling with DH Chris and our kids, DS 9 (CJ) and DD 7 (Kitty). We live in the Dayton, OH area. We are going to tell the kids at Christmas. This is our first cruise. We are planning three nights at Port Orleans French Quarter before the cruise. It will be our 2nd trip to the World.
We can't wait and our kids love to play with new friends!!
Lori, I know I'm responding to an old post. I just decided to go through all 23 pages and read them all. I just read that you are from Dayton. We are from Liberty Twp., Lakota school district. And we will be staying at Port Orlrans Riverside 3 days prior to our sail. We usually stay at French quarter, but we are bringing my mom and Riverside accommodates 5 people. We should get together some night in Disney. Rae
We have first seating. We did 2nd seating the last 2 cruises and found we were too tired (and too full) to go out after supper! Is anyone else scheduled for the later seating?
I'm not a magnet fairy, but do try printing on 4 X 6 photo paper and then either attach magnets onto back that you buy from store that are peel and stick (it comes on a roll) or use double stick tape and glue ones that come in the mail onto the back of your printed photo. The quality is really nice with the photo paper and uses less ink than regular paper.magnet fairy is out there with some relatively easy advice, feel free to share it. Thanks, Rae
So sorry to hear that! Our DD has a very old cat and he peed all over and in the bag. I had to throw everything away (and scrub the carpet).
We are 1st seating. Fast long weekend. Spent all day trying to figure out how to make magnets. Bought the magnetic paper and found out it gets stuck in the printerwanted to print things out on regular paper and then laminate and glue magnets, but Ray thinks it would look nicer on magnetic paper. "Great, Ray, but how the h--- do you do that?"
anyway, I'm constantly thinking about the cruise. If someone like the magnet fairy is out there with some relatively easy advice, feel free to share it. Thanks, Rae
Thanks for everyone's good wishes for Maggie! She is doing much better today. She is more able to walk, so I think that the anti-inflammatory meds are helping. Hopefully, the antibiotics will do the trick!
We also got our cruise documents in the mail today! So today has been a great day all around!
Oh, and we are main dining too...
