i spoke to my maddie today and she is looking forward to meeting alyssa and Madeline. we were out shopping again today picked up another bathing suit.

i think your dd mention nothing pink for her... well much to my suprize my 15 picked out a pink formal dress! who would have guessed that. maddie on the other hand has a very simple black and white long dress. I would have thought it would be the other way around.

i still have not done much planing for the ports. are we stopping cozimel(SP) or costa maya Maddie has wanted to ride in a horse and carriage for a long time. I think those rides were available at one of those ports.

I am limping thru the planning with a poor battery on the laptop and a broken desk computor and neither one has a printer with it lol. one thing is for sure we will be on the ship!

I told Alyssa about your Maddie today also and she said her and Madeline are looking forward to meet her. I think they will have so much fun. This will be Alyssa's 5th cruise so she pretty much knows they ship. Hopefully they will get involved with the kids club and have lots of fun.

Spent the day helping my neighbor set up for our big neighborhood 4th of July party. It's going to be crazy tomorrow also. We have about 150 people attending so it's a big deal and all the set up and planning all the food is crazy. I probably won't get back on again tomorrow so for everyone in the US...

My " Summer BIG cleaning-all-of-our-closets -up" has just started : a major MESS all around house !!!
BUT, in the same time, I'm reading our planning sheets and thinking of ADRs at WDW ,excursions and ... DRESSES to bring with me on the cruise !!!

Has anyone started to "pack" yet ???

I'm just checking our bags/ suitcases / TSA locks and such ... while listening to ... LA VIDA MICKEY !!!!

We all watched the World Cup Match between Italy and Germany...We were over at Cindy's (my sister) and her In-laws are from Germany...So everyone was cheering for them...NOT ME...I kept wishing Italy would score then Terry yells GOAL...Italy just made a goal ...Smile...Then a few minutes later GOAL and THATS THE GAME. So Terry had also been hoping Itay would win, this morning while talking to my Mom she said she was so happy that Italy won the match, so here I was thinking I was the only one pulling for Itay and then found out everyone on our side of the family had been for Italy.

Beckie - sounds like we a quite a few DISers on board. Our party total I believe is 18 or 19. My family - 5, parents & inlaws - 4, Davids family and friends - 6, and friends of David's family - 4(I think). I don't really know the other family that well, so I am guessing at their number. I will know more after we do the college trips with David & his Mom.

I think this has been brought up, but not sure if anything has been done - but do all the DISers doing late dinning want to try to link our reservations so we are on the same dinning rotation and sitting near each other. I believe Beckie & Laura are already linked but I am not sure if everyone else did this. We have a party of 18 or 19 so we will take up a few tables ourselves. You don't have to sit with another family if you do not want to, but it would put us on the same rotation and we can be at tables that are next to each other. I have the number to the lady who is in charge of the dinning seating and we can work with her if we want to do this.

Also, if those on early dinning would like to do this we can arrange that also.

We did this for our Christmas cruise and it was a lot of fun.

Beckie - Tim was disappointed Germany didn't get through, those Italian goals were awesome though. I used to get in trouble for supporting Italy when I was younger, I used to always get their World Cup team shirt! No idea why, I think it was because their players were better looking, no really, I am that shallow.

Just watched France beat Portugal, very happy about that. Thierry Henry is my nephew's idol (he plays for English team Arsenal) I was made to watch a 100 goals of Henry on DVD by him when I visited my nephew in UK! Absolutely soccer mad.

Laura - Feeling so much better now thank you. I seem to always get bad sinus problems when I get a cold recently, and this was a really winner. Luckily it gave me an excuse to get out of household duties for a bit, I think I have probably pushed it as far as it will go now!

I'm impressed to see that you are starting packing, I don't even want to think about it right now. I still have stuff from our England trip that needs putting away.

What information do you need to have our tables near each other?

Beckie - We also have requested the 8:00PM(APL) dinning rotation. If we want to set it up so we are all sitting close together I would just need to get everyone's reservation numbers.(These can be PM'd or emailed to me so we don't have them on the boards) I would also need to know who wants to specifically sit together, who wants to sit with their family only, or who doesn't care if they sit with someone else. Once I have all this information I can talk to Debbie to help us arrange it. Like always, we will be reminded it is a request only, but if our reservations are linked then we should be on the same dinning rotation and near each other. Since we are a small enough group, if the DISers doing main dinning would like to do this I can handle it for them too, or I can give them Debbie's email.

Good Morning/Afternoon All!

Well, we had a great 4th and the neighborhood party was well attended. Everything went well and everyone seem to have fun.

Now I am off again. Alyssa is flying to her grandma's in Vegas tonight and I will leave for Virginia tomorrow morning. I will be back on the 17th and then all I have on my plate is the trip to FL/WDW/DCL.
