7 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!! YEAH BABY
Hurricane Dean is heading to Mexico!
Whew.....well that was a bunch of worries we didn't need.
Now back to our regularly scheduled broadcast.
I've printed out my packing list and checking what I need to buy that I don't have right now.
We're leaving on Sunday but we have a noon flight so no getting up at some unGodly hour like we had to last year when we flew in the same day as the cruise.
Yesterday I tried on my snorkle fins on my bad foot and (thank goodness) no problems wearing it because it has an open toe.
We're staying on the ship in Nassau as I intend to spend some quality time by the adult pool. We have the snorkeling excursion booked at Castaway Cay so that will take up the morning at CC.
Don't worry if you get off the boat at CC and it looks like there are no available beach chairs. Just keep walking along the beach and there will be empty chairs as you head towards the teen beach. We found its really nice directly in front of the bathrooms as the beach gets a little wider there and you can stay under the trees.
If the water playground is closed, don't despair. It just means its low tide and the playground will re-open as soon as the tide comes in and the water gets deeper.
Absolutely order a drink from the waiters walking around the beach. We all need that pampering and the waiters/waitresses are delightful to talk to.
So relieved Dean is heading away. Though I'm sad to think Cozumel, Mexico may get another hit. We were there last year and you could still see the hurricane damage from a year ago.
