Happy Birthday!! I hope that you have a wonderful day!

Congratulations on your new nephew!!!

Happy Birthday to you and that beautiful baby boy! Have a wonderful day!

Happy belated birthday to you and little Thomas. :cheer2:

Any baby pictures yet?

I just got back from a week in the Wisconsin Dells. Thought about y'all and the Dis Meet at the MOA. It's still quite a ways from the Dells.

Happy Birthday!!!:cake:party:

Congratulations on your nephew/birthday twin. ;)

Thank you so much everyone for all of the birthday wishes... I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful birthday!

Yesterday - Suzi, Mo and I headed out to the MOA for the second time - we hit a few of the stores we wanted to go back to...

Then we had lunch at a restaurant that was themed like a cross between the Poly &Carribbean Beach - however the food was more like... :scared: Didn't think anyone could mess up nachos - but ladies (and gentlemen) it can be done.

(these photos stolen from Mo's FB page...)

After that - we decided that a couple of Nikelodeon Universe rides were in order... So we rode the Pepsi Orange Streak roller coaster and the Log Chute... It was great fun - we laughed like children the entire time!

Then last night Suzi, Mo and I drove down to our house to have dinner with my family... Little did I know - they had a surprise up their sleeves... They had planned a little birthday party for me. :grouphug: So, not only did Suzi and Mo get to see my house, my sewing room and my town, but they also were able to meet my neighbors and Mo found some time to take Alli on a photoshoot...

Mo was even able to cuddle with MM... Even though MM is sort-of a camera hog... :rolleyes1

Josh made the brats and hamburgers, Allison had made the strawberry spinach salad, I had made the home made baked beans before I had left on Thursday, and Victoria made the rhubarb cake... It was a wonderful meal.

I was just so thrilled to be surrounded by my family, my great Disboard friends and my neighbors... It was such a wonderful surprise - I couldn't have asked for a better birthday! I am so very fortunate to have many great people in my life. :grouphug: I wish all of you could have been here to celebrate with us - what great fun we would have had!

I am just sad that I didn't even take any of Suzi and Mo with the girls... :sad2:

After, we went back to the hotel, and hung out while Suzi and Mo packed...

This morning - I had to take Suzi and Mo to the airport... It was such a wonderful trip, and I am just so thankful that we had a chance to meet each other. We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend out birthdays, and get to know each other better.

Here's a photo of us at the airport... Don't mind my non-showered self (and Mo too) - and of course... Suzi is just cute all the time... :beach:

I just love these Disfriends so much! :grouphug:

I know that Suzi and Mo will have so much more to tell you all, so I won't tell everything. I just know that I am thrilled to be seeing Suzi again at WDW in 78 days, and to be meeting her little Bradey. And I hope that some day I will get to see Mo and meet her little midgets... Sooner rather than later.

Then, of course, perhaps the most wonderful birthday gift of all... My sweet little nephew made his arrival last night - Josh's brother told me today that the little guy protested as long as he could, so he could arrive on my birthday... I just have tears welling up in my eyes because I am so very happy for both of them, and so thrilled to have a nephew - we all couldn't be more happy! The only sad part, is that they are so far away, and we won't get to meet him for at least another year or longer.

His name is Thomas Dakota... 7lbs 8oz (approx, we had to convert KG to LBS), he was born at 1:10am on June 2nd in The Netherlands. And he is just precious.

D~ <--- who is now in FULL FORCE WDW trip planning mode from here on out!!!!

Looks like you had a great birthday :cool1: :cool1: How nice to come home to a birthday party.

Happy Birthday to you and to Thomas! What a wonderful birthday present. I'm so glad you had a great time this weekend.

Kat & Jim are at Travis AFB. We're not sure when they will be flying home and I'm not even sure which airport they will be flying into (there are 3 nearby), though I suspect it will be BWI. The great news is that she is talking again. Her dad said she said "hi" "what's up" and other things that her dad could not remember because he was crying. Things are looking up! thanks again for your prayers.

Oh - btw - my son Steven and my brother Jim share a birthday too!

I am a very emotional person, been accused of wearing my heart on my sleeve I don't think that's a bad thing at all but these last few posts have me an emotional wreck and all I can say is :grouphug: for the Dismeet, for Thomas' birth, for BD surprises and the love of family & friends, for hospital discharge into physical therapy center for my Aunt Mary, and for the news about Kat...going to leave now for awhile TTY all later

Those pictures of Thomas are precious. He is such a Dutch Treat.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

Again, congrats.

I can't contain my excitement... Joshs Brother's wife just had their gorgeous baby boy in the Netherlands... They named him Thomas Dakota, born at 1:10am on June 2nd... Mom and baby are healthy.

And perhaps the best part.... My very first nephew shares his birthday with his Aunt D~!

I could not be happier for them.... He is just so precious!

D~

CONGRATULATIONS D AND FAMILY!! I saw the pictures you posted too and he is a cutie I love how he shares you're birthday! Hopefully you'll get to see lots of pictures of him so you can feel like you are there seeing him grow up!

Happy Birthday!!! He's not the only one to share your day, it's my birthday today too!! Glad you were had a great day with your family, friends and neighbor's!! Sounds like a great time!

D~ I'm so happy you had such a wonderful birthday. What a great family to plan this for you. And terrific friends & neighbors. And that new nephew of yours is adorable. I love babies. Regarding him living so far away, do you skype with them? I know it is not perfect, but you could hear his gaga googoos and see his face expressions.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Again - thank you all for the birthday wishes! It really means a lot to me that you stopped by!

I just grabbed quotes from after I posted yesterday... I apologize - but I need to just pick up here and move on. I tried to read over the weekend, but I just don't have the time to go back for all the quotes. I hope you all understand.

Thanks so much Tess for keeping me updated on Kat over the weekend - she was in my thoughts often, and I am so happy that she is making so much progress. My prayers continue for her and all of her family. :grouphug:

I knew that too Sandra - I had forgotten about that. I hope you had an amazing birthday... Did you do anything fun?

I couldn't have said this better myself! I too got teary with these posts.

Thanks Dee... Yes, we do Skype with them - as often as we can arrange it. Hopefully we can do it more now... They are pretty active on Instagram, so the girls show me all of their photos on there too.

So, once I came home yesterday... I did nothing... Seriously.

I had lunch...

I took a 4 hour nap...

I had dinner... Josh threw some left-overs on the grill from the night before (which is what I wanted)

20130602_184210.jpg

I went to the neighbor's house to see their new puppies... They have 8 of them, and they are just so sweet! This little guy fell asleep on me - he was sooo cute!

I hung out on the back deck with the family (it was finally NOT raining out)...

Then I went to bed...

It was a glorious birthday! I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful day.

And one of my favorite purchases this weekend... A Villians Tervis Tumbler!

I also purchased a Toy Story one... But I will show photos of that one later.

I will also be back shortly with more trip plans.

Originally - up until last Thursday - I'd had reservations for lunch at Sci-Fi... But I started thinking... We really LOVED Starring Rolls last time - it was such a refreshing meal after days of park food. And since SR closes early, I decided that we should really just plan to have lunch there instead and swap out Lunch Sci-Fi ADR for one at dinner time... Since it was available - that is what I did.

D~

Glad you had a great birthday. Love the menu! I have a friend whose birthday is the same as yours as well as our son in law. Popular date!

Love the puppy pictures! They are so very cute and cuddly. I miss having a pet, but it just isn't feasible any more with our constant trips to visit our kids. But our neighbors all share their dogs, so we do get a bit of our "fix" satisfied.

So glad you had a great time with the girls. Sorry your meal at Bahama Mamas was not great. Sounds like you three had a fun-filled time. I really like the tumbler you bought. I guess you'll be locked in your sewing room now for quite a while. Sometimes it's so hard to get back into the swing of things. Hope you have a very productive day.

Your nephew is ADORABLE!!!!!!

Love the cup! I want one-

Kat update - she's still at Travis AFB, not sure when she will be flying out, maybe tomorrow or Wednesday, but maybe not until Thursday. Today she is scheduled for speech therapy, pt and a swallow test. I think if she passes the swallow test, they will take out the feeding tube. My brother posts that she is making progress every day and she has a good attitude, which I've always thought is 90% of recovery.

Not sure this meet & greet is going to be possible. But, we will see. If not that day perhaps another.
