Great lanyards V made. She is really talented in the sewing room. I hope she contiunes to sew so she can enjoy it and make things she wants for herself when she is grownup
Thanks Lillian... I will be sure to tell her. I agree - I hope it's something she continues to love.
The Tigger bag is fantastic!
Thanks!

Hi Mo! It's great to see you here - I've missed ya! I do like Suzi's idea - and I might just use it.
Hmmm... That typing had to have been odd? ROFL
I sure hope V is feeling better! Theres so much icky stuff going around!
the Tigger bag is Bouncy good!
THanks Ruth... Speaking of Ruth... Has anyone seen Ruthie lately - she hasn't been around for several days...
Oh wow, I love the Tigger bag! The wallet is so cute with the boucy tail. And the inside material is just perfect.
Sorry that V is feeling so poorly. I hope they figure out what she has quickly so they can get her meds so she can feel better soon.
Thanks Ariana... I will do another V update at the bottom.
I posted this link on Bouncy cat's fb page. She will go ga-ga when she sees Tigger! Great job. And V great Lanyards.
Thanks Tink - that was very thoughtful of you!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Tigger is my favorite (and I know Christie's too). So adorable and love the colors.
Thanks Kathy! I didn't know Tigger was your favorite...
Ok as a TIGGER fan I LOVE the Tigger bag! If I was a bag person I'd totally want one!
So...did V get diagnosed with Strep?
Oh and how can I find your Facebook fan page? I'd love to see it or just search and add me: Dina Caddeo
Thanks and can't wait to hear more about the trip planning!
LOL - you've said that to me a few times... I think you are destined to become a bag person eventually.
I will do an update at the bottom about V.
A lovely bag. Great colors and once again lovely details. I like how the black line on the wallet illustrates the bouncing
Thanks Lillian!
OMG OMG OMG!!!! LOVE IT!!! I can't WAIT to get it!! I'll show you pictures with me of course!! Thanks SOOOOO Much!!! Happeeee Birthday to MEE!!!
I hope you had a good birthday! And I can't wait to see pictures.
The Tigger bag is as always, pretty darn awesome.
Now then, about 3D sewing...this is my area! The whole reason I got back into sewing was a) costuming and b) cloth dolls - 3D sewing! Of course, if that element isn't necessarily cloth based, then I probably wouldn't be able to help.
Yah - I am still not sure if I like it - I feel like there is something not quite how I want it, and I just can't put my finger on it.
I've actually thought about putting pictures of some of my dolls on my FB page, but I usually check all these social places on my Kindle and I haven't figured out a way to stor picts on the fire yet.
I hope you're able to figure it out soon - I would love to see!
I have never had strep, but my niece had it every year from about age 11 to 15. She was horrible to live with because she was so miserable. Poor V.
And the resort idea for bags is really great. I may have to think about that for 2014.
Awww... Your poor neice. I will do a V update at the bottom.
I like the resort idea too... Now, if I can figure out how I want to do it...
Hope she feels better soon. Lots of juice, airborne and lysol the house for the rest of you.
Thanks Kathy... I will do a V update at the bottom.
Dang, well, good thing it isn't strep!! I hate it when one person gets something, then it takes it's time getting around the house. That happens here all the time!! I hope she feels better soon!!!
Thanks Christie... I will do a V update at the bottom.
Poor V...this is a tough flu this year. Kids seem to start feeling better and then take a turn for the worse again and are susceptible to other infections (DW is a pediatrician...been seeing a lot of it this year). I would keep her home for the full week and just let her rest. Were they able to use anti-virals or was she too far in for that?
This is exactly what I am worried about. She was quite perky yesterday (compared to the day before)... So, I am a bit anxious to see how she is feeling today.
I love the new bags! You are so talented

I hope that V is feeling better soon, strep is no fun
Aww... Thanks! I will do a V update at the bottom.
Sorry to hear that V has the flu. Hopefully the rest of you can avoid getting it. I've had it and it's no fun.
I love your new bags...especially the Tigger! The bouncy tail on the zipper pouch is just adorable. And what a great job V did on the lanyards. I'm not sure I could stitch a straight line on a sewing machine...much less make that! WOW!
Thanks! I know - that Tigger bag really turned out cute. The Daisy one did too - but the lighting in my sewing room really made it look awful.

Oh well, maybe that will keep the price lower and someone will get a fantastic deal.
So sorry that V has the flu it is so bad this year. I was at the hospital with MIL today and they were saying how awful it is today.
I am totally in love with the tigger bag. Fabulous job.
Oh no, is your MIL OK?
Thanks for the compliments on the Tigger bag.
Wow!!! I just went back and read how you started sewing and it amazes me!! I think it's awesome that you are THAT good after just that short amount of time!!! You are amazing!!
Thanks! LOL I don't think I am amazing... I am a bit shocked at myself, still. LOL But I have so much fun - that's for sure.
sorry to hear V got the flu...hope it doesn't spread to the rest of you and she's feeling better soon!
tigger bag is fun!
Thanks Lisa!

I will do a V update at the bottom.
Oh no! I hope V feels better soon!!! Hopefully the rest of you some how manage to miss getting it!!
I also loved her laynards! They turned out great!
Another great bag!! I also loved the little bounce on the wallet. Just added more personality to it.
Update on Jeremy is he's been fever free for over 24 hours now so back to school he goes tomorrow! Found out that yesterday there were 7 kids in his class out sick and 5 kids were out today!!
Thanks - I will do an update on V at the bottom.
I am relieved to hear that Jeremy is doing better and headed to school today.
I've been missing in action for a few days, but I'm so glad to come back to see not one but two fabulous bags. I am totally in love with the Tigger one!!!!! I have a photo of me with Tigger and I have such a goofy look on my face (you should pardon the expression) And the Daisy bag is wonderful too. Love the colors!
I noticed... Now if Ruthie would just show her face again... Both of you were missing.
Hope V is feeling better by now. I used to get Strepp throat every year when I was in high school. I lost 15 pounds in a week because I couldn't stand to swallow much of anything! Glad hers wasn't Strepp, but the flu is no picnic either. Hope no one else in your household gets sick!
Wow! So glad that you got over that stage, I can't imagine! I will do an update on V below.
Glad your meeting went better than expected. You'll whip those newbies into shape!
Yah - there were many things that were just awful - but like I said, I really went in thinking the worst, and it was better than that. I sure hope it doesn't continue this way, however - because I am so tired of us being accused of doing things that we did not do, and being accused of having to fix things that we did not cause... Basically - we were left to clean up a HUGE mess (which we are still cleaning up) - and we also took all the blame for it.

I just need to let that part go, and move forward - but it's so hard when the very people that caused it are sitting there blaming you in the audience. It's so frustrating.
Amazing is the exact word I used when I read her story.
LOL Thanks. I am really not that amazing... I am just weird.
**********************************************************
First off... V update... She was much more perky yesterday. The fevers she was running all day were more low grade than the days before. I am hopeful that she is better, however, from what the Dr. told me yesterday - this strain has been having some time in the middle where people appear to be getting better, and then it comes back with a vengance. So, I am hopeful that she is better, but I am anxious to see her this morning so I can decide for myself. At least she ate a real meal last night at dinner - more than she has eaten combined for days, so I was glad to see that.
She is very excited about her Lanyards now... She even had me make her a new logo for the top of her auction pages... It's pretty cute - she told me what she wanted and I made it for her. So, you all will have to check it out.
After V's Dr. appointment... We stopped at Target to stock up on some sicky supplies... Soup, juice... You know - all the good stuff.

Then we came home, and I worked in my sewing room.
I've started final assembly on my bag... There is one part on it that I am just not sure about yet, and if it doesn't come around - I am going to have to rip apart the whole bag... So, I hope that I like it soon.

Josh likes it and the girls like it, and there have been times where this has happened and it's turned out good... Sometimes I chalk it up to me being more critical than necessary.
No trip planning news to report - except hours were released yesterday. I did get an email from Touring Plans that a few of the crowd predictions had changed, but I compared them to our planned schedule and the changes didn't affect us at all. I do need to go and look at the EMHs though and see how that works out, and if our plans coincide with any of those.
I am very excited to be making our ADRs in a few short weeks... However - I hope that the website is back to being somewhat hassle free by then. It's been better this last week, but I am still a bit aprehensive. There are a few ADRs that I am banking on that +10 day rule on.
I hope all of you have a wonderful day today!
