I am getting excited to put my lanyard / wallet to good use during my brother's trip. I can pack light since my kids will not be with me and I figure it will be the perfect place for all the fastpasses I will probably have to run and get!

Oh No! I hope V feels better soon!! Jeremy's been sick the last 2 days and I'm keeping him home one more because of him passing out this morning. After going to the DR the diagnosis is low blood sugar and a little dehydrated from not eating or drinking anything last night on top of having a cold. Here's to a restful day tomorrow for him and V so they can go back to school soon!

I had another idea on your park bags for this trip...or any trip. How about a Port Orleans set?? You could do the sea serpent pool, the rod iron horse heads, the waterwheel at riverside, one of the mansions, or the creepy parade floats from Sassagoula

Yikes. That is so scary. I hope Jeremy is feeling better soon. Keep an eye on him. This fall my son had to spend two nights in the hospital because he got a stomach bug and was so dehydrated.
Yes, I remember that! I've been pumping fluids into V like crazy... I think she said she had 4 bottles of water yesterday + some juice and some club soda (she is like me, and like the fizzy stuff on her throat when it hurts).
Wow!! I could only imagine having to go through that!! We plan on laying low tonight and tomorrow and doing nothing but relaxing and making sure he gets plenty of fluids!!! That's the last thing I need is for him to have to be hospitalized.
I sure hope he is doing better now.

Yes, I would say Raglan Road . . . I'd do lunch over dinner (which is rare that I like lunch menus better than dinner menus) . . . I know you made your choices already, but if you need a meal while in DTD, we walked up for lunch on a Saturday and didn't have a wait at all
Personally, I think you should have a Disboutiquer bag . . . Cinderella's mice, of course!
I will see if we are at DTD for a meal... I know the girls loved EoS, and really want to go there again - so it will depend on where we are when we get hungry.
I am not sure I am talented enough to do a Disbou bag... Those little mice are so TINY!

First, V update... She is still not feeling well at all. She has been running a fever off and on for 2 days now. I did call the Dr. yesterday morning to ask what they are doing... They said to stay far away from them, and push the fluids - unless she has an ear ache or sore throat, then they want to see them. I did say that she had a sore throat - so they made an appt for today - if she still has a sore throat, I am to bring her in, if not, I am supposed to cancel. Well, we found out last night that the wee one she was babysitting for this last weekend was diagnosed with Strep on Monday... So, I am keeping the appt - I am quite certain she has Strep.
I am a bit irritated - even though these kids' parents are good neighbors/friends of ours, the girls always get sick/colds when they go over to babysit - so it's kind of annoying. Oh welll, at least I know to have the Dr. do a strep test... Hopefully she is better after getting some meds, because she is very miserable right now.
Another V update: I posted a picture of the lanyards she has been working so hard to make over the last week on my Facebook fan page... And I told the story about how she is trying to save up $$ to pay for a portion of our CRT meal... She received lots of offers for custom orders, and I think that people really like the idea that I am trying to teach the girls the value of earning their way to something important... Mostly because I am a cheapskate, and I would never spend the $$ to eat there.
So, anyways... I am sure, if V wanted to - she could open up her own little Facebook fan page and create a business for herself - but she is only 13... I am sure that in a few weeks (when she is no longer grounded from the TV/Phone/internet/IPam - making lanyards will be the furthest thing from her mind). But, so you all can see her first lanyards... The Pluto one is already sold... but the rest will go up for auction on Thursday. Here they are:
She received LOTS of compliments yesterday - and she wanted me to pass on her Thank Yous. Even though she is very sick right now - and she was less than enthused about all of the fuss - I know that if she was herself, she would be totally elated that so many love her lanyards.
As for me... I finished quilting my next bag. I also got a good start on the main applique... I am working on a small 3D feature, but I am having troubles translating my idea into an actual working item... I spent waaaaay too much time on it yesterday - and I would have been better off just appliqueing it. HOpefully I can make it work today.
I plan to finish the applique (or almost finish it) this morning before we go to town for the Dr. I am sure I will have to wait around in town for a prescription... Hopefully I will be back with a few hours to work in my sewing room again.
I also have auctions to get written up.
I plan to upload pictures of my next bag as soon as I am done typing this.
And that's about it for today... Thanks all for the continued prayers and concern for V... Hopefully she is able to get meds today, and will be back to herself shortly.
