Believe it or not - our best deals were scored in Hollister... Despite popular belief - they do have the BEST sales, and yesterday was even better because it was 50% off of redlines.Victoria ended up with 4 pairs of jeans (1 white pair), 1 skirt, 8 layering tank tops, 1 sweater, 1 button up shirt, 1 tee shirt and 1 dressier shirt for about $175. All of her jeans were cheaper than what I could buy them at Target for (excluding clearance).
The lines at Hollister reminded me of Disney... There was a line for the dressing rooms that was about a half hour wait. There was a line to check out that was about a half hour wait... I really could have used FP...There was no way Josh would have stood in lines like that - so I am glad we decided to start purchasing before he got there.
I went to bed early, because I had woken at 1:30am, and couldn't make myself fall back to sleep... So, I was really tired.
D~
It sounds like V did really well at Hollister. We popped in there to get Sara a pair of the sale sweatpants yesterday in the afternoon. But we bought a little bit more than that. Both of the girls got a pair of sweatpants and we also found the 50% off redline section so they each got a pair of jeans and Meredith got a skirt which was plaid and really cute for school. The skirt was especially an amazing deal because it was under $10!!! I agree that when they have their sale on the redline stuff you can get some very good deals. We also recently found out that there are Abercrombie and Hollister outlets in Potomac Mills Mall which is about an hour away from us.
It sounds like your stores were way more crowded than ours were. And it was rainy here so expected terrible crowds but Meredith didn't even have to wait for a dressing room.
I can't believe you'd been up since 1:30! My husband is just like that too. If he wakes up early like that he just gets started on his work and sleeps for a while in the middle of the day. But I guess you'd wake up your family if you were sewing at 2 am.
I hope that you are able to book your trip soon so that you get all the places that you want. One of my friends booked a trip for this fall and expected them to release the free dining dates. But when they released them, they excluded the week she will be there! However, she did end up getting a room only discount and they are people who don't really care too much about food (can you imagine being like that?????)
I've wanted to get the Disney card for several years but my DH keeps saying we should stick with the card we have. Our current card has some really great travel rewards so he is probably right.
