I was wondering which rides or other attraction you would recommend doing at night as well as during the day because you get a noticeably different experience.

I've heard that Jungle Cruise is a completely different ride after dark falls, but i was wondering if there are any others.

The three mentioned above plus The People Mover, Astro Orbiter, Mine Train (when it opens), Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, Test Track.

The first ride I thought of was BTMRR, it is a completely different experience for me. Don't laugh, but Haunted Mansion is for me also. Yes, I know it is indoors. But walking up to the ride and through the entrance area sets the stage for me in a completely differnet manner.

I've also heard Jungle Cruise...Sept. will be my 11th trip to WDW and I have never done this attraction at night...we'll be doing it when we go to MNSSHP! I'm excited for it!

My other favorites at night are Splash Mountain, Test Track, Tower of Terror and of course the PeopleMover!!!!

Absolutely love Tower of Terror at night! Don't really know why, but it's so cool when the doors open and you're looking over the park all lit up.

We've never done late nights in the past, but this time we're going to try a bunch of after-dark rides at MK. Can't wait to see the list here!

A second (or third) call for BTMRR. Totally different at night, ride in the day first to know what it's like, and look out for the bats at night!

I totally agree about HM! I usually go to haunted houses at night anyway! Also another night time jungle cruise fan!

I haven't seen it yet but I heard Dumbo is fun at night with the new lights under its fountains.
Totally agree about jungle cruise and BTM

probably been on BTMRR several times at night before I noticed the couple dancing in one of the shacks.

This one never gets mentioned, but Living with the Land's Greenhouses are totally different at night.:)

~Dumbo, Astro Orbiter, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Test Track are just fabulous at night! I cannot wait to experience Animal Kingdom at night so I can ride Kali River Rapids & Expedition Everest! :goodvibes

Dumbo is totally cool at night! It's so pretty with the new lights and fountains.

Also, I agree with PPs...BTMRR, Splash, HM

I think anything that is outside is different at night. Even the parks take on a completely different feel in the dark :thumbsup2

We only ride Jungle Cruise, TTA and Dumbo at night because it's a much cooler experience. We also love BTMRR at night (but also ride it during the day, unlike the others I mentioned).

In general, we just love the atmosphere of Disney more at night...the parks & Downtown Disney.

All the dark rides are better at night because your eyes are pre-adjusted and you can see more detail right away. I'm especially thinking of Peter Pan's Flight and the Haunted Mansion.

I've never been on Thunder Mountain at night, but it's on the list now! And I'll keep my eye out for that couple! :)

You see it during the day but much of the effect is lost with the bright sunlight. It is very obvious at night. So much detail in that attraction. I love it!

For us..
MK: BTMRR, Splash Mountain, TTA, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise
AK: Expedition Everest
HS: Tower of Terror
EP: Living w/ the Land, Test Track
