Hey Ladies!
I am looking for some attendant gift ideas without a Disney theme. We have 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen and 2 flower girls. The flower girls are 3 and 1/2 year old twins. The bridesmaids will be 20-22 years old and the groomsmen will be 24-28 years old, just to give you an idea. I am thinking about doing the personalized LL Bean tote bags in different colors for my bridesmaids, but I need ideas for things to fill them with. I am clueless on the othersand DFi isn't any help! Thanks! :)

Instead of gifts you could do activities. Like spa day, high tea, golf, Espn zone, DisneyQuest, Cirque, local amusment park, something like that.

If you decide to go with the totes, you could do survival kits, either for the wedding day, or disney, or make them like high end gift baskets with tea/coffee products, spa/pampering items, day at the beach idea, stuff like that.

Personally I think this is part of the reason, we didn't have attendants, I didn't want to have to come up with a gift that was actually something they'd like and use. But I hope this helps.

Melissa

Sorry I forgot to mention we are not having our wedding at Disney, just honeymooning there! :)

i am getting the totes and getting jewelry for everyone to wear on the wedding day to put in there as well as a box of godiva chocolates, maybe some cute flip flops, lotion or a candle, maybe a gift card, lip gloss, a disposable camera, nail polish, a cute notepad and pen, maybe a blank photo album, magazine, calender (my wedding is inj anuary) (i am not doing all these things just havent decided which ones yet!) hope this maybe will spur some other ideas for you! oh yeah, one thing i know for sure i am putting in there, I want my bridesmaids to all wear their hair up some way for the wedding, so i am paying for them to get their hair done, so i am making a custom little card that says this to put in the tote! :thumbsup2

Wow, it seems monogrammed totes are THE gift!! :rotfl: here I thoughth I was being original!!! I have five bridesmaids as well and I also did the LLbean totes...pink handles with a heart on the front pocket and everyone's name embroidered on the front. They look fantastic!!! I filled them with pink flip flops, a pink and white striped beach towel (got them at Target for $5.99!!! Over $10 everywhere else!) a bottle of water with our personalized labels, a pink bottle of sunscreen, and a Nora Roberts romance novel!! Everything you need for a day at the beach!! (the sunscreen was important b/c one of my dearest friends died of skin cancer...please everyone wear sunscreen!!!)

anyhow, the bags look great and they totally are functional and fun and can be used for years to come!!

I think for the boys we are doing something really boring like monogrammed cd holders... :rotfl: my DF's choice!

My flower Girl and Ring Bearer and getting Build-a-Bears, one with a wedding dress and one with a tux...the store has a little pillow with a ring on it that you can add to the outfit and I made a little basket with flowers to add to the bridal bear! We named them Flower Bear and Ring Bear...how WITTY are we?! :rotfl:

Good luck!! Have fun!!!

What time of year are you getting married? Reason I ask: The dress my bestfriend/matron of honor and I picked out is strapless, so I'm getting her a pashmina - probably in ivory, the dress is a deep blue - that I am going to get monorgrammed with her initials. That way she has something to throw around her shoulders should it be cold the weekend I am getting married. I know it's not that original, but I am also getting jewelry for her to wear the day of. I told my fiance that he was in charge of getting his bestman something.

For your flower girls, I've seen cute flower girl t-shirts ... can't remember where though. Or maybe a cute tote bag or something along that lines.

We only had a MOH and BM and we did gifts specifically for them. My MOH got a gift certificate to the local garden center because she just moved into a new house and had lots of landscaping to do. Our BM moved to CA from MA and misses the seafood quite a bit. We sent him lobsters and fish chowder from Legal Seafood. They both loved the gifts we gave.
