Attack of the 5 pound lapu lapu.....I LOVE IT!!!!! Updated 1/20 Photopass pics

Thanks girl!!!!
I really need to buy myself a better camera so I can get pics like Erica or MeMom!! :lmao:

I was really sad with the rain! But, we did still have a good time!
OOooh, I can not wait for you to see holiday wishes and the parade! They are so nice!!!! I love Belle's Christmas dress!! That is actually one of the presents that I got Miss Hollie! I want her to be able to wear it one day to MVMCP!

I dont' know what was up with Abu! Even when we were standing there, he just looked and acted freaky!

Here's the secret to my pictures - I shoot twenty and get lucky to get 3-4 good ones. I don't even know how to use all the different settings like Drew does. He's always trying to tell me about lighting and shutter speed and such, but I mostly just put it on automatic or sports and shoot away.

I love Belle's dress, too. It is just beautiful. A lady gave Brooklynn a yellow Belle dress and shoes at Magic Kingdom on our last morning. She said her daughter had worn it the night before and said it was itchy, so she didn't want it any more. She also had a Cinderella outfit she was going to give away to another little girl. They were so nice to do that, but I would have been sick to have spent all that money and then her not want to wear them.

We figured they were staying at a deluxe and money wasn't as big a factor to them as it is to us. Brooklynn was thrilled, needless to say! It's a little too big, and the shoes were much too big, but she got right to the business of putting it all on.

I'll have to remember that for the future when I need to give something away, because that was a very nice way to start the day.

I am sorry to hear about all the rain. We all want nice weather when we're on a vacation, and sometimes it just puts a damper on things. Sometimes we're lucky, and sometimes we're not, and we just can't control that. You just have to go with it and have the best time you can under the circumstances. We were lucky on this trip, because the only rain we saw was as we were leaving on Sunday, but we've had our share of poncho wearing on some of our trips.

Oh thats not bad. Are you the other side of Atlanta then, the side nearer to Pigeon Forge? When we looked into it before we went we were told it would take 5 hours, which is why we stopped in Chattanooga which was half way. But I now see it only takes about 4hr, oh well I know for next year then :confused3. I am still trying to work out a route, it is so confusing. We were planning to go to PF, then Nashville, down to Huntsville vis Lynchburg, and then back to Atlanta. But we don't know if Huntsville is worth the visit (the space center), and were also trying to work it around missing the labor day crowds... ahhhhhh so much to think about :scared1:

Yes, we are actually NW of Atlanta so it doesn't take too long to get there. It probably only takes us around an hour and a half to get to Chattanooga. I want to take Hollie to the aquarium there.

Oooh my gosh!! That was so nice of that lady! I can't wait to see some pictures of Miss Brooklyn in that beautiful Belle dress. I ordered Hollie the Belle Christmas dress of of ebay. It is gorgeous!! I can't wait for her to see it!!

I wish that I had bought some ponchos. I just kept hoping that it wouldn't rain so I didnt get one. I should have that night!

Hollie is in here telling me to put a smily face to you so this is the one she chose!

:cutie:

So, my dad came over this morning to help Chad put the lights up on our roof. They both agreed that our roof is so high up that it would be better to put lights just above our door, garage, and around windows. Next year I will get a ladder truck to do the job! lol!! But, they did hook the lights up to my music light show system. It is really cool!!

Thanks for the video, you sure have done a great job. I really enjoy how it's all conected to the music. Very neat!

MeMom what a special thing to be given the dress and shoes. A random act of kindness that warms my heart. Brooklynn will look so sweet in it one day. ;)

Hollie You are a precious little girl. :cutie: right back at ya!!!

Your house is so festive!!!! That's a lot of work you have planned for next year.

What a cute little southern accent you have!!:cutie:

I loved Chattanooga, it was very pretty and there was surprisingly lots to do there. We only had time to do a lunch river cruise and go to Rock City, but really wanted more time. We stayed at Read House which was gorgeous and it was really nice walking down to the restaurant and river front, I loved that area. We did initially plan to go back and do the aquarium and Incline Railway but not sure if we have time. Have you been to the aquarium before :confused3

Have you been to Georgia Aquarium before, and Stone Mountain Park?

OMG!!! Heather your house is sooo cool!!! I want to come see it in person!!

We have a pretty good size display, I have to take pictures! I told DH yesterday that I wanted to get icicle lights and put them all around the fence around our yard! I have to make a trip to the store!

:santa: Your house looks awesome! I Love all of the lights, especially the Musical Tree! Thanks for sharing!

I was attempting to get a good picture of the ballroom scene but I never can!

That's pretty good. I did ride this thing over and over again when we went. If Dawn and I ever make it to the end of our TR :headache: you'll see :yay:

But I am determined to ride this thing until I get stuck at this scene. Then I can get some good pics. I've been stopped in several places, even on the backwards part. So I will do it again and again and again :upsidedow and  every minute of it!!

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes
