Love all the lights...especially the tree! I finally got DH to help me put up some decorations this year. We always had them when I was a kid. We've been married for almost 15 years and every year I tell him I want to do it but....nothing. This year I started buying stuff and putting it up myself so he helped me. I guess he FINALLY saw that I was serious. So...I have some pretty blue lights along the front porch, 3 spiral christmas trees, and a blow up tigger with a present and a blow up mickey with an ornament. It's cute but I want MORE!! It's really addictive.

I just found your trip report... You had me at alcohol around WS and with your hatred of clowns... I despise them... Ever since I was young (we're talking grade school or younger) and saw Steven King's "It"... Not sure why or how I watched it at that age, but I did... It's traumatic...

I think you are a decorating master, your stuff looks so festive and pretty all lit up, especially the singing tree (we all seem to want that tree) I can just imagine your neighbour's faces as they walk by and hear the musical tree, they must think it's so cool.

Why thank you, thank you!!! I love to do it!! Chad actually put our lighted garland up yesterday (its about time!) so I will take more pictures this weekend. Chad thinks that maybe our neighbor probably hates us!!

We're going to NC for Christmas so I'm not decorating my home at all. I did pick up a few small decorations for the cabin we will be staying in.

There is this farm not too far from us that has been decorating huge for about 15 years. The father who started the tradition passed away about 4 years ago but the family still carries on. I will try to get some video of it this year. It is awesome!

OK now I'm ready for an update!!

Yes!! "It" did it for me too!!! He was so scary!!! If I ever, EVER saw anyone dressed as him on Halloween I would pass out!!!

I'm alittle sad that they are changing it .. I work at the Monster Plantation for 3 years I loved that ride and i hate to think they are changing it ...

I am very, very sad they are changing it. Did you hear why? Because people were griping that it said Monster Plantation and they also griped about the Confederate section.......so Six Flags gave in and they are changing both. I think its absolute bull!!!! I cried the last day we were there and rode it! We saw Kenry and he asked me if I was excited about it and I said, "Heck no! I worked at my baby for 2 years and I am not happy about it one bit!" lol

Awww cool! I just love Gatlinburg!!! We were actually supposed to be going there tomorrow with Chad's mom, stepdad, his stepbrother and his family, and stepsister and hers for our Christmas gift. But, stepdad cancelled it because stepsisters hubby couldn't get off of work. I am sad because they were calling for snow saturday!!!!

We try to at least go there once a year! We always stay at Brookside Resort. Have you ever seen it? When your coming into downtown Gatlinburg right before you get to HardRock Cafe, take a left at that road that goes up the hill. Its up there on the left! Its really nice!

Okay, so I left you off while we were riding TTA 6 times while it rained!! It finally died down a little bit, not much because it was still raining. We ran over to Buzz Lightyear and was a little wet!

check out this score!! Its not much, but its the highest I ever got! lol!

Plus, we did the redneck pic too! lol!!

So, after BL, we decided to go to Stitch. Now, I have heard all kinds of things about stitch, but we haven't ridden it yet. Sooooo, we went to it.

OH MY GOSH!!! That burp was so nasty! I have a weak stomach anyways. I can handle anything else they did in there. Now, when the water sprayed I did jump. But that burp!! GAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I do it again, I will hold my nose!!! lol!!!

We came out of stitch and it had stopped raining. It still looked bad, but I wanted to get to Fantasy Land to get the picture with Belle and the Beast while Belle wore her Christmas dress. I was hauling some major bootay over there when Chad just had to stop in Cosmic Ray's to get the hot chocolate and cookies. I had me a apple juice. I love me some apple juice!! It was really good! I just couldn't deal with hot chocolate in the rain! Ugh!

We made it over to Fantasy Land and got in line for Belle and the Beast. We heard a CM say that in a few moments they would be leaving and that Snow White and her Prince would be coming out next. I was hoping we would get up there before they changed!!

Well....guess what!! WE DID!!

They were starting the fireworks so I ran as fast as I could to the bridge past HOP so I could get some pics! Here they are! Some of them are really blurry! I don't know what was up with my camera!

So, after that I ran back to where Chad was waiting on his mom and step-dad! they had actually got in line to see Snow White and her Prince. Of course, Chad didn't know where I ran off too so he was looking for me! lol!

A nice CM saw that we were talking to his mom and Jim in line, so she let us get in line with them for a picture!

Next, since it started raining AGAIN, we decided to ride IASW! Jim has never rode it! So, off we went to get that wonderful song stuck in our heads!

So, we said

to IASW and went back over to HM to stay dry! I just love this ride! It is my favorite and I could ride it over and over again!

I was attempting to get a good picture of the ballroom scene but I never can!

By the time we got off, the parade had started! We wanted to go back to POTC. So, we winded and finagled our way around the parade. I took a couple of shots! Continued in next post

Notice Santa with an umbrella...YES It started raining once again!!!! This time harder!!!!

We ran to POTC and it was closed! They said they were having a little problem and would be back up shortly. Now, I was ill from it raining so much. Nothing can put a damper on me like rain can. So, we decided to just leave at this point. We walked through Adventureland and ran into these 2!

Bad pic, but I never had one with the both of them!

I took some shots of the castle before we headed out! I just think its so beautiful at Christmas Time!!

We met his parents outside and jumped on the monorail back to the TTC. It was a downpour by the time we got to the tram to take us to our car. We had to jump off and haul some major bootay! I was sad we didn't get to spend more time at MVMCP. But, there will be more times!

Oh, and yes I did it again! I set the alarm for 3:55 am this time!!!! lol!!
