My mother has never been to Atlantis and she wants to go see/play in the casino and nothing else. My question is, do you have to pay the daily grounds fee to play or can you just walk in and gamble? Thanks!

Shy can take the taxi and just go into the casino. You have to pay for a wristband to enter the grounds. Taxi should be $5.00 each way.

The casino, shops and some of the restaurants are all open for a day guests. She'll know if she gets to an area where she Needs a wristband as there will be someone there checking.

Taxi should be $5.00 each way.

Its $5 each way for a shared taxi van. Its more like $20 if you want your own vehicle.

Right, they charged us $20 because we had an ECV and he charged us for 4 passengers on the ride back. On the ride to atlantis we did the water
taxi and it cost us $5 each.

No, most of the shops are in the common areas of the resort. You'll know if something is not in the free area, because there will be an employee checking wristbands.
