Hi there. We are going to the Atlantis from July 12-16th at staying at the Comfort Suites, Paradise Island because you get all the Atlantis amenities at a lower $.

Anyway..some questions:

Any recommendations for dinner? We are looking at Carmines, Bimini Road and possibly Marketplace (buffet).

Breakfast is included at hotel..so what about lunch?

Is it safe to leave a pool bag at a chair and wander? or are there lockers for $ and such?

Do you need water shoes? Or are flip flops ok to walk around?

Any experience with shallow dolphin interaction?

Any other recommendations..my boys (ages 15 &10) are SOOOO excited!!!!

Any opinions on Comfort Suites.

Also, besides the pools and such..what else is there to visit/see at the resort?

i was there last august, only for the day as we were on a cruise so we booked a room for the "night" so we could use all the pools and such. We left our bag at a pool, it wasn't a very crowded one.

flip flops are fine to walk around in

make sure to hit the slides early, those lines are crazy!!

The aquariums are really neat, your boys will like them

Theres a bridge to Paradise Island that you can walk into "downtown" Nassau, lots of little resturants and shops, or you can take a water taxi i believe.

have fun! I hope that helped, Atlantis is amazing, beyond amazing

I haven't stayed at Comfort Suites in a few years but there was a Subway in the little "mall" area right across the street from CS...there's also a sit down restaurant there but I can't think of the name of it.

The CS breakfast is continental but it was pretty good, and it was outside by the pool which was nice.

I've been to Atlantis a couple times and we always left our bag in the lounge chairs but there's lockers there too, I think they're only in one area though. $ and cc's I kept with me though (in a small waterproof case that goes around my neck).

You can take a land or water taxi over to the downtown area for a few dollars each way if you want to do some shopping...and there's also shops in the marina area of Atlantis (as well as HUGE yachts to drool over). :teeth:

When you first get to Atlantis ask for one of the property maps, the place is HUGE, almost theme park huge, and the map will help you learn your way around more quickly.

Have fun...Atlantis is a blast!!
