At work and code-lurking?!

I am. Trying to book a fall trip and I just keep checking back at the boards every hour or so! Ridiculous!

I'm so afraid I'm going to miss something, it's pathetic! I don't want to miss the 7 for 5 or any other announcements! We've been to Disney three times in the last 2 years, but the FAIRY TALE PACKAGE WAS AWESOME.

I sure wish they'd go down that road again.

We're so anxious to hear of any October discounts! We're spoiled because we got great room-only discounts in Oct '01 and Sep '02 and we used the FairyTale Package in Oct '03. I check here several times a day ... from home and work!

I just bought our airplane tickets today. The flights we originally wanted were almost full so the airfare was ridiculous. We are flying out one day earlier now and that saved us $300. I'd rather spend that $300 towards another night at the Polynesian. At least we get another day at Disney!

and I'm at work. Guilty as charged. Thank goodness for these boards - we all watch out for the codes and keep each other informed. I wish that there were a better way - meaning for Disney to announce codes - but I guess there isn't a way.

When you've made your decisions about WHEN to go, and WHERE to go (in terms of where you'll be staying), you then want to know: HOW MUCH to go...ha. And you want it FAST.

This is where I am currently.

Here's the quandry: we wanted to do a couple of days at Universal. If they do the 7/5 deal, we won't want to waste the UPH in doing that. Then we'll need to buy an AP to get the AP rates. I'm sure this is why Disney thought of this deal to begin with...didn't want anyone skipping out on the Disney parks...how ingenious!

Anyone else thinking this way? So MUCH to think about!

I am so nervous about missing the codes BECAUSE, I have to find out when and then call my AAA agent so that SHE can apply them because I can't make changes to my own reservations. She heard they'll be out on the 5th but I'm not sure where she got that info. -- I'll keep you informed as soon as I hear ANYTHING, OK?

I always check while I'm at work My coworkers know how much I love Disney so they usually don't say anything. I'm also hoping for some October discounts.

Ok...I'm guilty too! But here is something strange that is confusing me...I know Mousesavers stated today that possibly a new 7nights for the price of 5 deal would be coming out which in the past was called the Fairytale Package, correct?? Well I was just at the WDW website and one of the packages offered was the Fairytale Package...it didn't say anything about the number of nights (except that it had to be for more than 3 I think.) It just said it included UPH tickets and a Mickey's Philharmagic piece of artwork. IS this something old, something altogether different, or does this mean they are offering it again as of now?? I WANNA KNOW!

The "Fairytale Package" currently listed on the WDW website is not the package that everyone is talking about. Last year there was a special limited promotion with that name that involved paying for 4 days/staying for 7 days and that included UPH passes. The current package is a straight pay for 7/stay for 7 deal with passes. The rumored 7 for 5 package will probably not be called "Fairytale"; they seem to be using "Dreammaker" now. All web sources point to 5/5 as the release date....we'll see!

I am just as bad. Everyone at works makes fun of me but if someone here at school wants to go to Disney they have me plan their trip.

I don't think we will get any discount at this point because we are going September 9 - 13 and it doesn't look good. We will still go because it is a birthday trip.

I, like the rest of you will check everyday and then check if there are codes check everday to see what everyone is paying.
