Ok, I'm recruiting help.. the mission if you choose to take it.. is to help me find a dress for DD... (these are dress she can look @ before we go shopping in the hopes that she'll like one we pick out and make the shopping trip a little less stressful!)...anyway, she wasn't going to go to homecoming...but she is reconsidering... and it's just 2 weeks away....

It needs to be not too formal..but more of a "wedding" attire kind of thing.. Date night! LOL

Requirements per Dad: NOTHING IS TO SHOW! He's seen how some of these girls go and said NOT his kid!

Ideas: suggestions.. I know the choice will ultimately be hers...

Now I need the bat for my brother!!!! The boss came to his senses (apparently someone else showed him the bat ). But my brother has decided to stay!!! I am worried sick about him- he lives in north Houston but it will still be a cat 3 when it reaches him. I could scream!!!!

Mom of boys here...but I agree with DH...the dresses are way over the top these days!! I went last year with DS16's BestGF (the one I took driving)...boy did we laugh about some of the dresses. I mean, I wouldn't want to spend $100 to look like a bowl of sherbet...orange sherbet to be exact...

No, we're in Austin so we should be fine. We are getting tons of evacuees as well, which is the main reason they are closing school early - to try to get the school traffic off the roads as soon as possible.

Ok, I was gonna PM our number to ya in case y'all came up this way.

I'd say about a 3-4... She hasn't worn dresses in years.... LOL Not cool to wear dresses when you dress up for sports events...

Go ahead and send photos..and I'll get her sized this weekend... LOL OMG! My baby is growing up before my eyes.... I know her shirt sizes are AS or AM (AL is what DH would prefer she wear!)
