No school today...sleep in a little...

Wait in for guy to fix the AC...yup, another !@#$%^& appliance has broken at the Davis house! Tried to turn the AC during the humidity of the hurricane, and nothin'... the fan ran, no cool air... Ran for a few hours thinking "It's gotta to be me, this thing has to be working..." Never budged under 81... Second time this summer for this NEW LAST YEAR unit to be on the fritz!!! Guy came out on Sunday to say there was a solid block of ice and had to wait till Monday for service...GRRRRRRRR... Oh, and of course, DH is out of town...

Work on T & T swap

Kit up jewelry class stuff
Post Office...

Crock pot dinner... been watching a cool blog, and got inspired

Deb - sorry about the AC. Ours went out twice, turned out a leak from an area inside the pumping unit in the house. Factory error, but past warrenty time.

Happy Monday all! Yes, I am unusually chipper this morning! I am going on a trip! I have a conference in NYC tomorrow, but we are leaving today at lunch! I get to ride on a train and eat in restaurants. I'm even going to the World of Disney! Oh yeah! . So because of all of this, I am up. I feel like Christmas morning or the morning I'm headed to WDW. But I forgot the best part! The company has a luxury apartment right on the park where we are staying! I totally can't wait! We'll even have a butler or something...

So for today...
1. Take DS to school...
2. Pack!
3. Print letters and envelopes for Home and School (merged them yesterday...)
4. Charge phone and camera. (just got the pictures off and now I'm ready to charge! )
5. Train...
6. Shop...
7. Eat...

Then for tomorrow...
1. Conference all day...
2. Train home...
3. Arrive back by 7 or so...

Oh, we are all having Day 248 Brownie in a Mug for dinner!!! Whatta mean that isn't the recipe you are cooking, Deb? Darn, I knew it was too good to be true.

It's Monday. Need I say more, but there is more. It's Monday in the last month of the fiscal year. Never any fun for the budget person.
I've gotten done what I am going to do at home:

Throw a load of laundry in - Done
Fold laundry - Done
Make the bed - Done

Now it's time to face the work day.

Wow Mickster...you get like a real grown up trip! Have a blast...sounds like fun!

Now, my kids and DH would be thrilled with a "Brownie for Dinner Day"...but alas they have mean old mom to feed them meat and other gross stuff...

There is a BBQ chicken meal that I liked, and there is also a fish in foil packets one that I want to try. Sounds really strange, but I bet it's yummy. Last night we had shredded beef tacos...from the crock pot...not sure about tonight yet

It's Just Another Manic Monday......

15 minutes:
Bathroom done ended up doing the whole bathroom, 45 minutes. But it looks so purdy!

Living

Dishes 1/2 done, dishwasher unloaded and reloaded. It awaits the evening dishes. Still need to do sink stuff
laundry at least 3 loads

• put away

lunch done
dinner cookng
remove Dead A/C unit from boys room
clean blue couch and chair
remove blue couch and chair and store in garage (giving to my friend)

Go:

get boys @ school done
Get DS12 at Cross Country 4:45 done
Go to 8th grade meeting not going, DS6 is sick. Poor baby came home with red ears and a cheeks, and a fever of 101.7

So I called to find out why I haven't been called yet...

Turns out the the repair guy yesterday really didn't mean that someone would come out today...what he should have said is that I will be called to schedule when someone will come out. She was making it out like I misunderstood. So me, being the kind patient person that I am ask : SO WHY DID HE LEAVE THE FAN RUNNING ALL YESTERDAY AND ALL LAST NIGHT SO THE UNIT WOULD BE DEFROSTED FOR THE GUY TODAY!!!... I was also asking why I wasn't called, and I had to call them? Answer: "The dispatcher didn't call over with the weekend calls yet"...It was after 1000, are you kidding me?

I have just so had it... This thing has a guarantee...just for spite, I'm ready to call and say I need a new unit...

listen to me deb, you and those stupid appliances are killin' me! i can't believe another one is broke. good grief! i'm so sorry to hear this. i'd call and ask for a new one. i think the maytag repair man has a voodoo doll of you!!!! you've made him made i think!!!!
