At Least 3 Things ~12/11/08~

Y'all are killin me this morning! Yeah, there is NO way I could get up before DH. There would be lots of not nice words coming out of my mouth!

My house is a disaster and I am tired of running all over the place.

1- coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee done
2- make bed done
3- wrap ornament for Mom's group done
4- take pie for Mom's group not going
5- Mom's group not going
6- straighten living room better
7- straighten bedroom
8- straighten kitchen done
9- wash rugs in dryer
10- get stamps for Cmas cards can't no carseat for DS
11- mail Cmas cards see above
12- get a few addresses for Cmas cards
13- finish November and send to Holly!!!
14- wrap DH's presents

Slam the pot in the sink.
Fill it with water.
Slosh the water on the floor while swinging it over to the stove.
Splash some water on the stove.
Bang my knee on the oven handle.
Turn on the stove to heat the water.

DH will be awake in no time.

Mission accomplished.

Well, it was definitely going to be a busy day at home...... but I got called to work at 6:20 am, so here I am, working "hard" in an empty middle school library! The weather is bad and going to get worse. I was supposed to be supervising a fundraising table for my FLL team (Lego robotics) at tonight's school supper, but that has already been postponed due to the incoming storm. DD has swim practice and DS has basketball practice, but not sure if they will be happening.

If I am home tonight I will get the Christmas cards signed and in the (already addressed) envelopes. I finished the cards Sunday and got the pictures to go inside printed Tuesday, but they are still sitting waiting for signatures.

Laundry is pretty well caught up, but I will fold the last white load tonight after school.

Dinner (of some sort... not sure what... didn't plan well because I thought we were going to be at the school supper).

Kids would like to start decorating the tree before DH goes away for the weekend for work. Not sure why DH needs to be there as he rarely helps decorate the tree, but it is nice that the kids want him there. Maybe if the storm keeps us home we will get it done tonight.

I have a partially finished scrapping page sitting on my table, so it would be nice to finish it. And the house needs some picking up because DD is supposed to be having a study group over tomorrow after school. So a quick run around with the vacume is in order (I dusted earlier this week). And I will Swiffer the kitchen floor and clean the downstairs bathroom. DD will need to vacume up the guinea pig hay mess in the office and then I can straighten up in there.. That should do it for downstairs cleaning.

That should fill my day!......................P

AAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! DS and I walked out to get in the car to go to my last Mom's group and there is NO carseat in my car!!!!!! DH took DS home with him last night and then drove off with the seat this morning. He is in court so it's not like he can run it to me. I am so sad, it is our annual ornament exchange. Our other carseat is with my MIL.

I'm so sorry Ashley...
I despise those days... I use to get so upset...but it's not like they mean to be so "air-headed" by not taking the seat out.... Time to contact the judge and remind him we didn't ask for photos of the first court case... now we are asking for photos.. move on over!!!

I just got off the phone w/ the mom I wanted to co-chair the party with me..and she was so great about it!!! I'm so happy.. we hashed out how we are going to handle the party..and she is going to take over when I have to leave... I'm so happy!!!!! Yeah!!!

Ok, off to email the teacher a couple of the questions we have...

Thanks y'all! I feel better now. DH felt absolutely TERRIBLE, so I didn't want to rub it in anymore. I will at least be able to get the house put back together, it's a disaster.

Good news!
DH just called. Sam's Club took the microwave and exchanged it out for a new one.
Turns out it wasn't as old as I thought it was. Guess I forgot I got that as Mother's Day gift in 2007. Why would I want to suppress that memory.

Anyway, reheated coffee tomorrow!

Good news about the microwave. Sams is great about returns/exchanges on merchandise as long as it is under 2 years old.

I am very excited- DH had his meeting with the first committee he needs to go trhough to become a full pastor in the church and he passed with flying colors- no assignments. I had heard horror stories of assignments- anything from reading and review books to working a set number of hours in a different setting. He has no more work for them until next year and he is finishing his last class of the semester tonight (paper is due by midnight- 5 pages left to write.)
