It's actually cold today in Texas! Maybe it will actually feel like Christmas today.
1- C-O-F-F-E-E done
2- make bed done
3- shower done
4- make Christmas present tags
5- make journal for friend
6- clean kitchen
7- have DD go through Crocs and donate those that don't fit
8- hang up the rest of the laundry
9- figure out how much I've spent on DH
10- make buying list for everyone else
11- find shoe box for DD's Brownie project done
12- moisturize! seriously dry skin!
13- try to remember what DH and decided on the kids presents last night
14- Advent calendar
15- update Christmas card list
16- dinner with friends!
17- wrap presents!
18- call dentist for DD done- 4 today
19- call for flu shots for kids done
20- take DD to dentist

i was also worried about this! but then i read little bit came home early.

I pick them up from school on Thursdays and Fridays.
With my head hurting all week, I was afraid I would forget what day it was today. The being blonde doesn't help either.
Little Bit is home now and Eldest will ride the bus as I can't bring the sick Little Bit back into school.

How is little bit doing?

I'm livid w/ our school nurse @ the middle school... but she isn't how on my "I like you" list anyway..
Evidently my son got pushed in the hallway yesterday, tripped over another child's leg because he was getting something out of his locker... DS12 hit his head hard into a metal locker...and the ******** didn't even call me to let me know!!! 3 teachers witnessed it and took him to the nurse.. I happen to contact the one teacher that was under the impression that I had been notified.. I had not.. check caller ID and messages.. NOTHING! So, I sent her a note (the teacher I had contacted) and the principal and the nurse stating my disgust!!! She, my teacher friend, sent a note back..saying, "I'm sure this will be a topic that gets her called to the office"... I sure hope so... This nurse is the same one that told my DD in 3rd grade she was LEGALLY BLIND! DD went to eye dr. she was mildly near-sighted and didn't need glasses (has them now)..anyway, so I've yelled at her before about the fact she seems clueless!!!!

So, DS was OK last night though? What a moron she is!!

Well, we have a new principal who lets say.. we had parent night at the beginning of the school year.. HE NEVER INTRODUCED himself.. just told us what we would be doing and spoke to us as if he was the greatest invention since sliced bread!!! He has NEVER attended any of the kids events, sports, musical, spell bowl.. ERRRR!!!!

DS12 did great.. Hit a 3 point shot, several other baskets, lots of steals, rebounds, tore up lots of plays!!!! DH suggested we call my friend who is the teacher and suggest she go push him down again! LOL

I'm just really upset because what if it had been more serious or he collapsed at the game last night and I had NO knowledge of this... She is a waste of space too!!!

If it wasn't for his friend calling last night...and then his mom calling this morning to follow up with me... I would have never known.. DS12 probably didn't tell me because he was embarrassed... He had to hit that locker hard if he was crying....

She needs to use up those frequent flyer miles my friend. right to the moon!

Wow. That is just horrible.
I our school nurse. She calls the parents everytime a child comes into her office, no matter what the reason. My Little Bit had a nose bleed (dry air + allergies = bloody noses). He was fine and went back to class, but still, she called to let me know.
Every school should have a nurse they can count on.

Is you DS okay? Any headaches, weird sensations in the fingers or toes?

I know Holly... I figure I need to calm down today or else the cops will be called because I'll get a little VOCAL with her!!!!

No, didn't complain at all last night....but I need to talk to him tonight because he isn't my complainer.. he just takes everything and until he can't take it any more.. He is like his momma and takes the pain.... (only meds were w/ my C-section!)

I know I will have to go in and speak with her tomorrow... I've already sit a note to every school since her last fiasco that they can NOT touch my kids for any testing... scolosis, eyes, hearing... I told them I have that done by PROFESSIONALS!!! That is why I have insurance!! I also told them they were to notify me any time my child goes to them... The HS nurse sends an email...so does the nurse at the upper elem. But the lower elem she is a witch...and the middle school is a witch!

Awwwwwww, he was crying!! He must have hit really hard. Yeah, I'd have to send in DH, because I don't know what I would do to her! It's not her place to judge and that could have been really serious!

What an a$$!! And with him playing sports, everyone should have known, you and the coach especially!

Today was the day of the charity auction with the Disney scrapbook I made. DH called me a few minutes ago and it sold for $75!!!!! It's not near what it's worth, but I didn't expect it to sell for that much and the money all goes towards a good cause! I had given DH strict orders that if it was going to sell for less than $50 that he was to buy it back for me. I'm sure he was glad he didn't have to do that. I've been bugging him like crazy today with e-mails, phone calls, and text messages trying to get updates.

I don't know who bought it, but I'll know soon enough when they contact me to make the 5 additional pages of their own theme choice.

This is so cool. DH is now getting e-mails from gals that saw my scrapbook at the auction and wanting to know if I'll help them with their scrapbooking and one even wants to know if I make pages to sell. Wow! I'm feeling all happy and fuzzy inside!!!!!!
