For those of you who would like to know what the crowds are like: they're not that bad!

My family and I got to DL one half hour before it opened and met Mr. Penguin and saw Pluto and also did some shopping. Then we went to tomorrowland, rode Space, and Buzz, and then the Matterhorn, all with little or no waits.

Then we went for breakfast at Minnies and it was okay. Not amazing but just okay. Minnie, Chip, Dale, Eeyore, Tigger, Pooh, and Wendy were there and we didn't even get to see Pooh, Chip and Dale. Also, it kind of felt like the menu was limited. While we were waiting to be seated, I went and got FP's for Indiana Jones, and after breakfast, we walked right on, but not before meeting with Mary and Bert!

Throughout the whole day we did all of frontierland, critter country, and adventureland.

Right now we're taking a break before going to DCA to see Aladdin for its last show until Sept., and to see DEP, and then DL to see F!, and ride Space Mountain once again.

It was a very fun day, and we'll be back tomorrow and tuesday :cool1: .

We were supposed to head up to Disneyland today, but decided we didn't feel like driving too far. We went to Legoland instead. :)

So glad to hear the crowds aren't bad. Maybe we'll have to go next weekend.'

Thanks for sharing and have a GREAT time!!!!!

man Ive never got to meet bert and the only time I saw Mary was way back when they did the Practically Perfect tea...now that was a blast from the past :goodvibes

You are so lucky!! We will be there in less than a month!! Hoping with all the kids back at school, it will be very quiet.

Last week when I was there it was a mad house. On wednesday night they filmed the halloween commercial. I watched the fireworks show and looked down main street which was packed. have a great time and i wish i was still there. But I do not think that my sunburn wants to be there lol.

I'm surprised that the parks were'nt crowded for you. My boyfriend and I were there last Thursday and it was a nightmare! I have an AP but he doesn't. We saw how insane the crowds were so we decided to just hang in Downtown Disney to shop and grab a bite to eat.

Hopefully the parks won't be too crowded for awhile. I guess a lot of people wanted to enjoy some time before the school year starts up again.

Yeah, well it was quite a surprise, actually! I saw them at the plaza pavillion, i think? All I know was it was across the street from the Plaza Inn, and beside the place where kids make cookies. Mary was so funny, and she kept wanting to dance with me!

Wooohooooo! :woohoo: Thanks for the live report ~ we will be there next week!

Okay, so last night we went to DCA to see Aladdin since it was the only time we could see it on our trip. It was amazing and Genie was hilarious! So after Aladdin we were really hungry so we looked at a place to eat and decided on eating around the peir.

We walked to Paradiase Peir and my brother and I ate at Strips, Dips, and Chips (can't get enough of those chicken strips!), and because my parents didn't really find anything they liked, they walked about five minuted to the section where the Tortilla factory is and ate some mexican food. My brother and I knew they would take long, so immediatly after we ate we went to California Screaming (yes, our stomach's were full!), and the wait said 15 minutes (around 7:30pm, park closed @ 9pm), and while we were waiting I timed it. 12 minutes waiting, 15 minutes total.

After meeting back up with our parents, we got a spot for DEP which wasn't that hard. We got a spot on the ground less that 30 minutes before the show. What a great show. I hadn't seen it in a long time, so it was really nice for me.

After DEP, we went to DL and pushed through the herds of DCA people going there, too. We finally got inside and almost to the entrance to Adventureland, only to be told we had to go around and infront of the castle. How stupid! Oh, and I lied about it not being crowded. The streets were packed or this show and I mean PACKED. We saw Tink and a bit of the show and then walked to Critter Country to use our 2:55pm FP's for Splash. Evenyone went on and it was great.

After Splash, we left the park, only to find everyone had left! The crowds magically disappeared!

Okay, so it was a really long and fun day and now were up early to get EE, Toontown and then go to DCA. I'll report back later if there's time.
