Assessing Vero now

Just got off the phone with MS to check availablilty for March at OKW. She did mention that crews just got over to Vero to assess damages. No word as to when they will open back up.

It's a good sign that they at least let them out onto the island. There was mention of keeping people away even longer than last time.

I just read that they are opening the barrier islands to residents and business owners tomorrow 9/28 at 10am. Water is still turned off on the island as a precaution until they are sure the infrastructure is still intact.
