Asking my girlfriend to marry me on the balcony of the Magic Kingdom castle

I want to ask my girlfriend to marry me on the balcony of the Magic Kingdom castle, is that possible?

Not to my knowledge. If you become a Disney Fairytale Wedding couple, you can have a Magic Kingdom photo shoot and they will allow pics on the balcony. That is the only way I know of, sorry...

There are many other romantic places though! How about the wishing well?

You could propose in the restaurant on the 2nd floor of the castle in Cinderella's royal table. It is very beautiful and you could time it with the wishes fireworks.

I cannot imagine that Disney would allow that 1) because of legal reasons and insurance and 2) if they did I imagine it wouldn't be free of cost!

There are other gorgeous places though! The wishing well's a good one. And no matter how busy the park is the well area is usually pretty vacant of guests.

There are tons of things you could do, just depends on how much you want to draw attention to yourself...

The straight answer would be no. I'm fairly certain it is considered a backstage area for use by Entertainment, and it's definitely not accessible during fireworks. But like others have said there are other places in the area where you can. There is someone proposing using pennies at the wishing well and a few ladies have been proposed to at the fountain. Both gorgeous spots.
And as always, it never hurts to ask about the balcony. Just have a backup plan if they say no
