I'm never able to make the thursday and tuesday quests, and would really like some halloween quest furniture for my HM room! Can someone please get an extra quest prize for me? I go help at my church for the thursday nursery, and I would never give that up. thank you!

I will try if you give me some info about these quests...last night I got on vmk for the first time since the new stuff, for about 20 mins, then off, then back on for the last half hour. I barely had time to check out all the new stuff and chat some people up. I missed the cool purple ghost pin.

Will this quest be under "Q"? And if so, is it hard, like something we would, ahem, need "help" with (like the answers?? LOL) or require pirates or HM game?

If I don't have any problems with the quest today, I will try and do it a few times and get you something. Can't promise though b/c I don't know if I will be able to get on today. My computer has been wacky and I think my bf wants to take it apart and do stuff to it

The girls and I have church club on Thursdays as well, but I can usually get on the quest for the last 30-60 minutes, depending on how cooperative they are in getting to bed. I can usually get 3-5 quests done in this time (I'm playing their characters too since I'm not going to let them stay up late to play it).
Miakoda, it's nearly always on Thursday evenings, 5:30-8:30 PT, and are very easy go from room to room taking 5-15 minutes.

Kasiks I think I got on late last week but will look if I have extra.

Thanks. Is this the quest that give you orange bags like the bags in the emporium (the black ones)? I traded a tron cabinet at one minute to close for three of those bags tonight, he said they were from quest but I didn't know where. are they easy to win? And how do you get the purple ghost pin or the other pins in the set (someone told me its going to be a set)?

Yes the quest tonight gave both the black pumpkin and orange bat bags. Ghost pins are host only, as the lightcycle and Surf, etc.

Unfortunately I only managed two quests tonight and that's only bc they kept it open an extra 1/2 hour. DS was still working on homework when i got home so he never did it either. At least it wasn't the candy machine.

Ok is this a quest where you wait in line for a host's room, and they have a quest machine set up in there? Not the Q button right? (b/c I didn't see a quest in there yesterday). Just checking, b/c I have not been in many host games in the past few months. I just trade for the stuff b/c it always says the line is too long, or if I do get in line, I would dc. Maybe someone needs to explain host quests, host games, and host trading to me as if I were a newbie! LOL. the last host game I played was like the spinning generators in a certain code for inferno game Oh, and semi recently some chair race that I lost, don't know what the prize was. I think I'm scared to go in a new game that everyone knows, even with instructions I will feel like I don't know what to do and be the annoying person asking stupid questions! LOL I dont' want to be "that guy"...or, uh, girl...

Mia, it was a Q button quest that came on about 8:30ish. Prizes were the Halloween Bat Bag, and the Halloween Pumpkin Bag. I am going to guess that it will be the same prizes each week, but you never know with VMK.

Thanks so a quest just shows up in the q button for a limited time, and you just have to be lucky enough to click then and notice it's there? Or is it on the main page somewhere? Also, when you say 8:30ish, is that VMK time (PST)?

It was at 8:30 Eastern time. And the quest is announced in the little orange box on the home page and login page where all the host games are announced, as well as the VMK Pal calendar. Any "Host Game" with the word Quest in the title, generally means to check the Q. They've been happening every Thursday.

Thanks. I got it now And EST is the time I know! LOL, "WDW time". Oh, is anyone having problems with vmk being slow, dc'ing, or just getting stuck while going into rooms now? I am, and I noticed ppl are replying to DIS right away, so that usually means problems with vmk. I have not checked the threads to see, but I'm curious. I just got back into vmk so lets see....

They usually have it running till a little before 9pm VMK time, I assume to let people finish that start at 8:30. I'm also pretty sure that it did stop one time at 8:50 so don't count on it being up till 9.

Yeah, I remember the last host games I would go to regularly (the inferno winning generator spins that you had no prayer of actually winning!) were supposed to end at 11:30 (my time, WDW time) and they usually blocked the door at 11:45 or so (IF they were nice, sometimes they would block right at 11:30), and just let the people in the room in line play. People would always show up at the door and beg beg beg PLZ PLZ PPPLLLLLZZZZ!!!! to get in, "oh I have been in line so long, I dc 47 times, I'm so tired, I stayed up just for this," etc etc. I felt bad for the game hosts b/c it was their job, and they wanted to go home from work. So I would side with them (while being in line) and say to the ppl at door like, "Look, Fin (or whoever) wants to go home from work! She is trying to run a game here so stop begging and come earlier next time!"

Then one day...I was the person at the door when she put the lanterns up (to block the line). It sure does suck. You don't want to leave, b/c you waited so long, but you can't play either so you just stand there all sad-like. It happened to me about 3 times: but I never begged to get in. Only once, I asked nicely once b/c I had dc'ed in the room when it was my turn to spin right before that! OOH I was so upset. Luckily the host (I don't recall who) remembered me and let me in. Whew. Of course, she also had to let in the other 4 people that busted their way in with me (after she said "only Miakoda come in, b/c she dc when it was her turn before). Some people are rude. But she was nice enough not to boot them. I think it was HOST_Annie? There is a host Annie, right?

Ok sorry for the story there. But yeah, they close the doors at the time the game is supposed to end. So you better try to get in line at least 40-45 minutes before the event ends! Especially if it takes place in one room (not a quest where you leave the room after starting the quest, which is a brilliant idea..the lines move a lot faster). If nobody is leaving the room until they win or whatever, you really shouldn't bother getting in line 30 minutes before the game/event is set to end. You will just end up coming into a closed-off room and be sad
