Does this character breakfast buffet have pancakes, waffles or french toast. It didn't say it on the menu and I am not a fan of eggs?:confused3

I don't really like eggs either, but I had plenty to eat when I had breakfast at Akershus. The potatoes there are out of this world, and I could've easily filled up on just potatoes, and would return just for them.

Akerhus is family-style, not a buffet, so you have to ask your server to bring more of whatever you would like.

I don't eat eggs either, but everything else was wonderful. DH and the kiddos also enjoyed the eggs. If I remember correctly, the breakfast consists of cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes (very yummy!)

The cinnamon rolls are addictive - you will find yourself craving them later in the trip.

The cold items are now on a buffet. There are pastries, fruit, and cheese. There may have been some other items as well but that is what I remember.

The hot food; bacon, sausage, eggs, and potatoes, is still served family style.

I just went there last weak. The hot food is as disneyfav4ever said. The cold items are indeed a buffet and it's made up of different fruits, cheeses, bread (very thin rectangle shaped, nice taste but not too much so it's not nice with something on it), salami, olives, red onions, salmon filet, hering in tomatosauce, pastries, chocolatecroissants etc. No pancakes, waffles or french toast.

I ate the bacon, sausage, salami, fruit and hering, some pastries, but really filled up on the bread with salmon and red onion on it and the chocolate croissants. Yummie, yum, yum!

We ate there a few weeks ago and there was a nice variety of food even without waffles, French toast, or pancakes.

The first picture is my plate from the buffet. The buffet could have easily been our whole meal.

The second picture is the platter they bring after you visit the buffet. We were so full from the buffet that we barely touched the platter. I did sample the potatoes, and they were good.

Hi
I read on here that if you request waffles or pancakes, they will bring them to you. I don't know if it's true. We had lunch there in August and it was a lot of fun, but the food wasn't that good. Just ok.

They did not have them Oct 06. THey had the bacon, sausage, eggs and potato platter and the buffet had a lot of pastries, cold meats, cheeses, some smoked herring and lox, lots of fresh fruit.
