Ask me your Mission: SPACE questions!!!

Hey WDWGuide,

Is the ride experience different each time (a la ToT4), or do repeat visitors get the same experience again and again?

If it's the same experience over again, does anyone know if there are plans to make it more interactive? Perhaps the 'interactive' part is planned for later? I can't imagine WDI spending $100 million on a non-interactive attraction these days.

Len,

as of right now, the ride appears to be the same each time. Guests are given tasks during the flight (basically pushing buttons and using the joystick), but their actions do not really make a difference, i.e. if they don't do what they are asked to do the ride will do it for them. I suppose there is a possibility of installing alternative missions in the future, but considering that this has not happened with Star Tours or Body Wars, I wouldn't expect this to happen anytime soon.

Hi and thanks for all your helpful information!

Were there any warnings for pregnant women? I'll be 6 months along when we visit in November.

Thanks!

Yes, the sign states that expectant mothers should not ride, and I agree. The forces on your body are significant (I heard 2.5 g), and they are sustained far longer than on a roller coaster or similar attraction.
