Ask Me Anything Game: Ask ScottishSue Anything

A very good evening to you Sue! Hope you are coping?
Firstly, yes you can get crocs in Aberdeen My Dd said she saw some in Shoe Express and when i was in Glasgow a few weeks ago i saw something very similar in Sports World.

Anyway, on with the questions, apologies if any have been asked already:flower3:

Do you do your grocery shopping over the internet?

Do you buy anything on-line?

Do your friends and family understand your Dis addiction?

Do you read Simons Brits Guide?

What's your fave time of year to visit Orlando?

Off to annoy Lesley now LOL!:lmao:

Sounds brilliant Ian - thank you so much !! :yay:  :thumbsup2

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :disrocks:

you are more than very welcome, I dont mind bringing your coco cola for you ;) seriously any booze you will need, we can bring for you, and foodwise that is fine too, there is a little shop of the site, where the meat for the communal bbq is bred and fed locally !!

so to my next question, why do you suppose that everyone thinks that it is always ******* down in Wales ?

same reason everyone thinks it is ******* down here too, I guess !!

Seriously though, I've been down your way before and when the sun shines it is gorgeous. My next door neighbour moved to Aberystwyth - is that near you?

Your poor son! I was once falsely accused of shoplifting and it is mortifing.

have you ever been wrongfully accused of anything?
did you ever get the belt at school? if so why?
what's the most embarrasing thing you've ever done?
did you ever play truant from school?
did you ever run away from home?

Sorry Annmarie - think I missed you out !!

I don't think I have wrongfully been accused of anything, not that I can remember anyway

Oh yes, I got the belt at school - for being late - and I only lived 2 minutes from the school. I just couldn't be bothered to get out of my bed in the mornings

most embarrassing was getting absolutely blotto at a Royal Navy Summer Ball once. Dressed up in ball dress and the works - and fell down the stairs nearly landing on top of some poor sailor who was already there !!

No, I can honestly say I never played truant from school - I played in the school orchestra and we had assembly every day, so if I had gone missing someone would have noticed

Again no, I would never have run away from home for any reason. I am an only child and had wonderful parents. I wasn't spoilt - but they were never strict at all - let me do my own thing, which makes such a difference.

Aberystwyth is Mid Wales Sue, about hour and half from us, we are in Sunny South Wales near Cardiff

Hi Audrey - thanks for the info about the crocs - have just had a look on line at them and love all the colours - think I might just get a pair

No, never done it over the internet - friend next door tried it once and they delivered loads of the wrong stuff, so she ended up sending some back
- I go to Tesco or Morrisons once a week and do a HUGE shop

This is my biggest weakness - buying on line. I buy jewellery a lot !!
I use Ebay too !! DS and DH buy a lot of golf stuff so its handy

Easy answer this - NO !! My son thinks I am weird spending so much time on the computer talking to "cyber" friends. But I enjoy it, and as I pointed out to him, they may not be just "cyber" for much longer.

Never read Simons Brits guide at all. We just go on holiday and take each day as it comes.

We've always gone to Orlando in October, never been any other time.
So I can't really say, but I would love to see it at Christmas sometime too.

Hi long time no see! :rotfl:

What kind of wine do you like?

What's your fave cocktail?

Do you wear slippers or do you prefer barefoot?

What's your fave fruit?

Fave flavour of milk shake?

Do you think Lesley has ran away?
Maybe she couldn't handle the pressure?
Too many people asking questions?:crowded:
How do you manage to keep up?
I don't know! :rotfl2:

No, I know - haven't seen you for a while, have I? :lmao:

Oh, these are fairly easy ones, I like these !!

I prefer white wine to red - definitely, BUT if not available, red is a good compromise

Believe it or not, but it is a Margarita - (you listening here Matt)
2nd choice would be a "sex on the beach"

I don't really like slippers - I usually wear flip flop thingies. My feet get too warm in slippers

I've never really thought what my favourite fruit was until now - but it's probably melon

Milk shake - definitely chocolate - I love it

Is Lesley not answering your questions then?
There's no pressure - its only a bit of fun, and to let people get to know you.
It's easy to keep up - as long as you type fast :rotfl2:
Have you put yourself up for this ordeal?

Actualy no, i havn't. i just thought they selected people at random:confused3

You havin fun so far? Maybe a lot of peeps are off on hols or somethin? Still i suppose it's easier if your not gettin bombarded with questions.:thumbsup2

No, I think you had to put yourself "up" for it. I know I did anyway.

I'm ok with it all - but I like a challenge, so the more the merrier, as they say.

You come back any time you like - I'll be here (E.T.)

Evening Sue :)

Do you have a celebrity crush?

Have you ever broken a bone?

If you could change your name, what would you change it to?

Evening Kaylee

I don't think I've had a crush on anyone for years now - only seems to happen when you are younger, doesn't it? However, when I was younger I was madly in love with more than just one - Peter Frampton, Jim Morrison,
Cliff Richard (and probably loads more I can't think of). Totally different really, but I like all types of music !!

Haven't broken anything but had my ankle strapped up for 6 weeks, when a horse kicked me. But no bones broken.

I don't think I would change my name - I know I'm stuck with it, but it doesn't bother me and I quite like it.

Hi Sue

how many posts did you have before this any questions round started? ;)

have you enjoyed your week so far?

what was the best question you have had?

cheers

Mikki

Hi Mikki

Other than going through them all I would reckon around 100 less maybe?

Yes, I'm enjoying it a lot really - I think it's fun

I don't think I would have a best question really - some I have to use my brain for (what brain, you may say !!), and others are quite easy, but I like them all. I'd probably say something that made me think - but couldn't really pick one !!

Evening Sue,
Some more questions for you..

Who do you think should be the next president of the US?

Do you watch the Olympics and if so, what is your favorite event?

Do you think OJ Simpson is innocent or guilty?

If you could design the next big attraction at Disney... what would it be?

I'm having trouble sleeping lately. Do you have a home remedy for insomnia?

It's 8:15 am in Great Britain... are you awake yet?

Hi Kathy, can't you sleep ? :rotfl:

I've just had a long hard think, and feel Hillary Clinton should possibly be the next US President. Why not have a woman - she's extremely clever, and we had Margaret Thatcher !!

I do actually quite like the Olympics, and think the event I watch the most would be the Athletics. I used to enjoy athletics at school, (relay was my favourite).

It's hard to say about OJ Simpson really - but I probably tend to think he was innocent. Not sure about that one !!

How about a Lion King ride - as opposed to the show? Designed in the style of Pirates of the Caribbean - only instead of a boat, have it like the Kilimanjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom and ride on a safari vehicle.

Sorry, can't help you with the sleeping thing - I have problems myself sometimes. But I find if I go to bed lateish - say around midnight - I tend to sleep better. (And a little drink before bed does help too).

BTW I was up at 7.30 a.m. this morning - to get son out to school. (I hate mornings though)

Ok friends............ I have to go out now, and have my cousin coming up from London, on early morning flight just for the day, so I probably won't be back on line until early evening. I haven't deserted you !!

Hi Sue

Hope you've had a good day with your cousin.

What plans do you have for the weekend?

What is your favourite thing to do at the weekend?

If you could magic yourself to WDW for 2 hours, what would you choose to do with that time?

Do you sell on Ebay as well as buy?

Do you have any plush Disney characters and if so, which ones?

Cousin has gone to visit his Uncle (my Dad) in the Nursing Home at the moment so I have an hour on my own !!

I haven't really planned anything for the weekend. DH is away in Dublin for a few weeks, so it's just me and DS. I'll get peace to do whatever I want I think, as DS is always out at the weekend..... usually golfing during the day and out with his pals in the evening. And sunday he has a team golf game at a course in Aberdeen so he'll be away most of the day.

Probably my ideal weekend would be to get up lateish (around 10 a.m.), have a thoroughly lazy afternoon, then go out at night somewhere for a meal (and of course a few drinkies) !!

This is an easy one.......... I would magic myself to Magic Kingdom, and spend most the time on Splash Mountain - I love that ride. Then take a walk to Frontierland where I would eat one of those HUGE turkey legs !!

Yes, we sell and buy on Ebay - loads of stuff. But mainly golf gear.
DS and DH have had lots of good value from Ebay with golf gear !!

We have Bambi and Thumper - as that is one of my favourite films ever.

Hi Sue,

Where do you do your main grocery shop?

Do you have a favourite jumper?

Do you own a mobile phone?

Do you text much?

Have you ever met anyone famous?

How many handbags do you own?

What's your favourite Perfume?

That'll do for now. Hope you are having a nice visit with your cousin :) Showing him the sights of Inverurie?;)
