Ask Me Anything Game: Ask ScottishSue Anything

Yes i know it would have been great! Another time, for sure:goodvibes

Do you prefer instant or filter coffee?

Starbucks or Costa?

Tea leaves or bags?

Do you have matching luggage?

Do you Roll or Fold your clothes whan packing?

Do you ALWAYS pack too much? ( i do ;) )

Are you organised or disorganised?

How early do you start packing?

Do you always make an itinerary?

Do you stick to it?

That'll do for now, thanx:)

Back for more Audrey !!

I think probably filter coffee but I'm lazy at home and just use instant

Starbucks, definitely

I could never go back to using tea leaves now - the bags are so much cleaner and handier

It's not a thing I bother about much - matching luggage. We just case one HUGE case with everyones clothes in, plus the 2 golf bags, of course !!

DH rolls his clothes, but if I am packing I fold everything. I think its neater.
That way I can get everything but the kitchen sink in !!

We nearly always pack too much - well I do anyway. I take tops, dresses and shorts, enough for a month !!

DH would say I am NOT organised, but I am. He's way too well organised really. I get there just the same.

I reckon I start packing around a week to 10 days before. Stuff I won't need until I get there goes in first, then the clothes gradually as they get washed.

Itinerary - whats that? :confused3 Tried it a couple of times but it never works out. We always change our minds when we get there. I always tend to just go with the flow, and do things on the spur of the moment. Life's more exciting that way !!

Afternoon Sue

Sorry if these have been asked

How did you meet your DH?

How old were you?

Can you swim?

Your DS plays golf can you?

What hobbies do you have?

Hi Jo !!

I met my DH when he was in the Royal Navy at the Faslane base in Helensburgh - near where I lived at the time

I was 31 at the time ..... gosh that makes me feel old now !!

Not a great swimmer but yes, I can. Probably better at doggy paddle though.

I can't play golf - I would be so useless, compared to him. I tried once on holiday and it took me 12 to get out of a bunker !! (Iain's a 6 handicap)

I don't really have a lot of hobbies although I do like reading, and have played a bit of tennis in my time. Is drinking a hobby I wonder? :rotfl2:

Weell, hellllloooo Sue!

I just can't get a word in edge ways here today.... Shocking :lmao:

Have you ever visited a spa?

Do you like to have beauty treatments?

Have you ever tried hot stone therapy?

Are you working today?

What's your job?

How many jobs have you had?

What was your first job?

Is there a question you would like/hate to be asked/

Here yo go, you can stop twiddlin your thumbs now Sue:goodvibes

Thanks Audrey - I am enjoying all the questions

I'd love to go to a Spa some time but sadly :sad2: have never been at all
- I really fancy a good sauna and massage !!

I've never had any beauty treatments either - do my own manicures and pedicures etc!!

Never had hot stone therapy at all either - although it does sound so good, have you tried it?

I don't work Audrey - unless housework is work !! Have tried for a few part time jobs locally but they don't want you when you get old :sad1:

I only ever had one job - for 14 years working in Strathclyde regional council, as a Secretary, for the Roads and Sewerage Departments. I loved that job, we had so much fun.

I don't think there are any questions I would like/hate to be asked. It doesn't bother me at all - I'm easy !! I'll answer anything !!

of course it is Sue and if it ever becomes a professional sport I could be in with a chance at winning the gold for Scotland :lmao:

What's the biggest lie you've ever told and who to?
did you get found out, did you confess or is it still on your conscience?
Have you ever shoplifted?
What would you do if one of your sons was caught shoplifting?

We'd have to share the gold medal then !! :rotfl:

I've obviously told millions of lies in my past but right now I can't think of the biggest one at the moment at all. I don't tend to tell lies much really - I just keep things to myself and not tell anyone. It's easier !!

Probably I would have got found out if it had been really bad - but I think my conscience is clear at the moment anyway - (good question though)

No, never shoplifted in my life - I wouldn't !!

I could tell you a long story about my oldest son and shoplifting. He was in Tesco with 2 mates and they were buying something. However, David went into his pocket to get his glasses out to read a label, and the store detective pounced on him. He's as blind as a bat without them and needed them to read - but she marched him to the Manager's office, (thinking he was putting something into his pocket......... not taking something out) !! However, after a lot of apologising, they let him go. He was absolutely mortified. And no, none of my boys would ever shoplift !! I'd be gutted if they did - there's absolutely no need to be so stupid.

Hi Sue,

Do you believe in ghosts? Ever seen a ghost?

Yes Kathy, I think I do believe in ghosts. When my SIL got married the wedding was held in an old house in Whitby, which was said to be haunted. In fact her DH said he had seen a ghost one night !!

I've never seen one though - but you never know !! :scared1:

Nope, never tried stone therapy but my Dh fancies it tho :)

I don't work at the mo either, and housework IS work! (he he! i suppose it sounds like i don't do that either:lmao: )

What's the first thing you do when you get up in the morning?

What's the last thing you do before bed? (keep it clean, this is a family board!:rolleyes1 )

What are you going to have for Dinner tonight?

Do you own a pair of crocs?

Would you wear them?

I'm thinking about gettin a pair for my next hol:)

Your poor son! I was once falsely accused of shoplifting and it is mortifing.

have you ever been wrongfully accused of anything?
did you ever get the belt at school? if so why?
what's the most embarrasing thing you've ever done?
did you ever play truant from school?
did you ever run away from home?

Don't worry Audrey, it doesn't look much like I do any housework either right now - but I'm enjoying answering all these questions (hint .. housework gets done in between questions...)

First thing I do in the morning ? ........... must be to get my lazy son out of his bed and off to school !! (Then I can settle on here and answer ALL your questions !!)

I'm on my own this week anyway, so any chance of any :rolleyes1 is out the window ! Prob the last thing I do after locking up, is have a little :drinking1, then off to snore the night away !!

We had dinner early tonight as Iain, DS, is working in Morrisons from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. so we had it around 4 ish. Made a beef stir fry - my own recipe !!

You know I don't own a pair of crocs, but I think they look ever so comfy !!
They would be ideal for walking round the parks. I think I might get a pair before we go in October. Can you get them in Aberdeen? Or on line?

Afternoon Sue.

Right after your lamentable cricket forecasting yesterday, let's see if you get better at this. Any chance South Africa will beat Australia today? (I'll even give you a clue - SA are 94-7 off 28 and a bit overs)

More importantly will Gloucester be victorious over Bristol on Saturday?

Will the "round-up" I've just sprayed on the weeds in our garden work?

Should I have bread with my chilli tonight?

What do you prefer Indian or Chinese?

Favourite dish of each?

Matt

are you going to come to the GGG - come on you know we want you to

Good afternoon Mr. Churchill !!

Ok, as you well know, I haven't a clue about cricket, but it sounds like S.A. might win - those scores mean nothing to me, sorry Matt !!

ummm... you are in Gloucester aren't you? So I guess they will win then !! Is that the correct answer ?

What's round-up Matt? :lmao: I'm not much of a gardener - I cut the grass and leave the rest to Keith. Just keep praying and it might work !!

No, no, no.......... not bread with chilli !! Go and get some Tortillos.
Much nicer with chilli, trust me on this - get the Lime ones, they are gorgeous !!

Tough when it comes to food with me - it depends on my mood which one I prefer at the time. But probably Indian just gets the top vote there.

Chinese........... King Prawn curry with fried rice
Indian ............ Chicken Vindaloo, fried rice, (with Pappadums)

(all served with wine, of course)

are you going to come to the GGG - come on you know we want you to

Hi Jules

I want to say "Yes", I really do !! (You know I do). I want to meet you guys so much !!

So I'm going to say "Yes" then........... but may have to pull out at the last minute........... is that ok?

I just can't carry much, apart from myself, so can't carry any :coffee: or popcorn:: or :drinking1 so I'll be :sad1: while you are :yay:

But it's a "Yes" for now anyway !! :cool1: :rolleyes1
