WMKathy, have you ever had one of those days where everything goes wrong?

My day today.

A friend of mine has a Pontiac Soltstice her Dh gave her over the summer. Today was the first time I was in it 'cause usually we have kids and this is a two seater. Anyway, she gets her hair done this morning (paid a fortune), picks me up and we go have pedicures and went out for a late lunch. She is meeting he dh's co-workers & boss later this evening so she has to look great right?

As we are about to pay for our lunch, it begins to flood. We race out to put the top up and realize we do not know how to. We stand there laughing at each other looking like drown rats. But time is passing. So she has to take me back home to get my van so we can get our kids from school.

We climb in the car and sit in buckets of water (leather seats) with the top down. As we are leaving the parking lot she does not know how to turn on the wipers so we drive the 7 miles home in the rain with the top down.

I have never had so much fun!

I have sparkly tiaras, but I'm not sure about the furry kind. And the chocolate thing doesn't sounds very, well, proper...

Yes, a starry night for you and rolling towards the restaurant's parking lot for someone else. For the record, I was the designated walker by this point (I may have needed help, however, walking from the hotel TO the restaurant ).

I don't know if they could handle it in DFW, either. We might have to show them how it's done...let it be known that we're a LOT of fun, but terrible role models to children. Except for the drinking/driving...that we didn't do.

Make that HAD good nails. We're starting to build a house soon, and we're acting as our own general contractors. I removed the nails this week.

AND, since it's a construction site, I'll be trading my flipflops for my LLBean boots...which means the fake toenails have to go as well.
