Post all SW questions concerns, etc. here...

I've had the lowest tier card for years so I think I may do this. Will I lose any points already associated with this card (only around 11,000 points at the moment)? I would like to get the 100,000 bonus points if I could.
The points are associated with your RR account, not your card. They are yours to keep once awarded.

When did your last annual fee hit? Ideally, you want to time this for within 30 days of a new annual fee hitting so that you get another set of anniversary points but you don't have to pay the new year's annual fee. (If points and fee hit 6/1, you can call to cancel by 6/30 and they refund that fee.) But, this offer isn't going to be around forever, so I would prioritize that bonus ahead of timing the cancellation.

If DH has the Priority card and I’m an authorized user, would I still be eligible for the 100,000 point bonus offer if I sign up for a new card?

Thank you! That makes sense.

So I should probably go ahead and cancel since there's no guarantee this will even be available by next April?

I seriously doubt it will be available in April.
Since you just paid the AF do you have a SO that could apply to get the bonus points and then you close yours in April?
I do, but he doesn't fly! So when I book flights he'd never be on and to my understanding, the cardholder has to be on the flight for the perks?

Yes, you're correct. You need to be the cardholder.

And, yes, you for sure don't want to wait until April.

Anyone know if they do a prorated refund for this situation? I know folks have gotten prorated refunds on the Sapphire family but I don't know if it's all Chase cards.
