Ashley Madison an auspicous day

I wonder how long it's going to take before the woman/en who cheated with Josh Duggar will come forward. I bet there are lots of tabloids willing to pay big bucks for the details.

I feel awful for Anna and the kids.

Not so sure there actually are any. Being "unfaithful" in their world probably has a very expansive definition.

Anna Duggar will likely not be leaving her husband Josh despite his admitted infidelity, a source with ties to the family tells PEOPLE.

"Anna will not leave him," says the source. "As with her in-laws, she is turning more to her faith than ever. She and Josh are probably praying around the clock right now, I would assume."

Amid reports Josh had signed up with Ashley Madison, a website that specializes in facilitating extramarital affairs, Josh and his parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar broke their silence with a statement on the Duggar family website on Thursday, in which Josh says he has been "the biggest hypocrite ever" and confesses to a secret pornography addiction, as well as being unfaithful to his wife.

The source says that from their knowledge of Josh and Anna and the Duggar family, "no way is she leaving him" – adding that it would not come as a surprise if "on some level" Anna tries to "absorb some of the blame."

"Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him," says the source.

"She is fully and permanently committed to her marriage and her children. And she'll have the support of Jim Bob and Michelle and everyone else in their circle in terms of staying with him and making this work," continues the source. "Divorce is not even something that will be discussed."

"As for Josh, in this moment, I would assume he feels like his life is ruined," says the source. "It will be such a steep and practically impossible climb to come back from this."

Josh and Anna, both 27, married in 2008 and have four children together: daughter Mackynzie, 5, sons Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2, as well as newborn daughter Meredith Grace, 1 month.

According to the source, in the end, "Josh and Anna will pull through this," and the scandal will be "seen as a test" for which the couple, Jim Bob and Michelle "will be determined not to fail."

It's mind boggling to me how easily and comfortably he manages to do what works for him.
The first time around with young family members/friend was just unthinkable.

Then he moves to a job where he gets to try to shame others that he thinks are not living acceptable "family values".
While working at his dream job, he's all signed up for extra-marital fun. Why, he even used his grandma's billing address or some of the credit card statements.

I wonder what mental health professionals make of all this. Is there help for him? What would be done? Is it likely there is yet more that will come to light?
Is he safe around young children at this point?

And, just for my own interests, I zipped over to his previous employer's site. There is a short, hang wringing statement about their previous employee.
Otherwise, no change...business as usual.

Just because an email is found in the database, it does not mean they are cheating or have an STD! I have several friends both male and female who signed up specifically because they wanted to see if their SO's were on AM. They never did anything other than search for their SO and now their email and other private info has been released by this terrorist organization.

I would hazard a guess that most men who gullibly signed up on that site with hope of cheating on their wives didn't get to score based on the fact that 95 % of AM's real clients were men and most of the women accounts were fake.

The ladies of the night will always have a job.

Agreed. On top of everything else, he apparently owes the state of Arkansas over $14,000 in back taxes. So much for their "Debt free" lifestyle. I bet a lot of Americans would find it easier to be "debt free" if they skipped out on paying taxes for 4 straight years.

Most would say that if you're concerned enough to sign up and pay to "investigate", you probably already know you have a big problem with your SO.
It was a completely personal choice to register/risk their own personal information.

In my view, people do whatever is best for themselves and their families. Whatever arrangement Hillary and Bill have, as long as it works for both of them who am I to judge?

Just how I see them.

Personally, I see marriage as something more, than a business arrangement. Getting married to strengthen one's political career is a bit "dirty" and disingenuous. IMO

It's not how I choose to live my life, but someone else's choice is their own and has no effect on me. Strategic political marriages have been going on for centuries, nothing new.

These marriages are meant to deceive the public and gain advantage. So, they actually do affect others.

A recent thread asked, how many times would you marry? Well, I've decided DH is it. He's my soul mate and no one could compare. Although, I might consider a companion, who's younger and has great man buns...just for fun. ;)

Why? people get married all the time for money. I actually knew a girl in college. She was an orphan, worked but struggled, met an older gentlemen, he promised security, she promised companionship. He did not want any kids, I think she got him to agree to one. they were married for quite a while before he died. he took care of her, she finished college etc etc.

they were by all accounts a nice couple. Don't think she ever "loved" him, like a traditional marriage but they were happy.

lol, I married for love the first time around, I always joke that if I remarry, dude is going to have to have a whole lot of money.

people marry for a whole host of reasons, I actually don't have an issue with it as long as no one is coerced or deceived.

For me personally, I agree.
But I decided a long time ago that I have no business defining the word Marriage for other people. If they want to see it as a business contract, that's their issue not mine.

Affect, how? Most people aren't that interested in other people's marriages. They are busy living their own lives.
If someone is overly interested in the lives/marriages of the political or entertainment figures, I think that's kind of their issue. Hopefully they'll find a hobby or something. :)
(Although I do know someone who's still devastated at the lost of Michael Jackson...can't pick your cousins, ya know?)

Jackie Kennedy married Onassus for $$$

Electability. I'm not sure, that a candidate being married is as important today, as it was even 10-15 years ago. But, it is still VERY important to some voters. And, even a percentage point or two can make the difference.

Oh my. Folks voting based on who is married...gosh, no words. What a strange single issue to fixate on. I would think their cohort grows ever smaller each year they age.

OMG- this is so sick- "absorb some of the blame"- people everywhere are under pressure and they don't turn into kiddie touching cheating people! I think they can pray until they are blue in he face but unless he gets some major psychological help he is going to stay as sick and twisted as he has been for a long time.

I apparently have little respect for some voters, and am hoping they pay no heed to any encouragement to do so early or often.
