Ashley and Alex- PROFESSIONAL PICS ARE FINALLY UP!

Sooooo Cute! I want one! I bet you could make this hmmm.... :rotfl:

Thanks :) You honestly probably could, I just don't know how it would hold up in the water However, its crazy cute! It literally was originally 50 dollars and I got it on sale for 25! Can't beat that, I would check out VS website for it, they had another one in white with an engagement ring on it that was really cute too!

OOOOOOH another CA Grill Girl! I was so happy when I finally decided on it because I think its going to be amazing! R u having it in Napa/Sonoma or are u using the restaurant? I will definitely keep you posted with anything pro/con about the location! I loved it when people did that for me in the begining it was so helpful!

We're going to be using the restaurant, which I haven't seen too many brides do, so I'm getting a little nervous! I love the bathing suit you bought!!! I love anything from Victoria's Secret, and this bridal bathing suit is the cutest thing ever! :)[/QUOTE]

Thank you I actually originally had slated the California Grill for the reception however I backed out because I thought it would swallow our guests (50 people + huge room= :confused3)

SO long story short I went with the Napa and Sonoma, We are eating in Napa and then moving into Sonoma for dancing. One of my huge things was making sure everyone could see the dance space. And this way it will be the center of attention :)

L:lovestrucVE the suit! I hope they have something like that when its closer to my day!

Thank you! If I were you, I would just look now, that way you can pre-purchase stuff AND bonus if they dont have the style round the time of your day you will be the only one with it :)

You know, I'm only having 40 or so guests, and my biggest thing when I booked California Grill was that I wanted to have a nice dance floor. My consultant had only given me the option of Napa or the restaurant, and when we looked at photos of Napa, it was so small and I realized there'd be no room for dancing. I'm terrified that our party is going to be swallowed up in the huge restaurant, but I'm hoping we can figure something out. Either way, all of the views in the CG are beautiful, and that's one of the main selling points for us. :goodvibes

Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding!! :) I love your folder with all your information for guests. The princess border is really cute :)

This is probably going to sound weird, but I went to UT with one of your friends! Small world haha.

Oh gotcha, that was my fear too...I originally looked at Whitehall in GF but my fiance wouldn't go for it because he thought it would be too small and packed. I went back and forth with my planner for weeks because i was afraid of exactly what you are talking about being swallowed :scared1: She actually never told me about using both rooms either....I think they avoid that for some odd reason:confused3

However, Alex actually read on someone's wedding reports about using both the Napa and Sonoma and it actually should work like a charm :wizard: We will have lunch in Napa and then go to Sonoma for the dancing and since that will be the only purpose for that room everyone should be able to get down on the dance floor :woohoo:

Also it breaks up the lunch/dancing which at first I thought was odd but now i'm completely in love with it

Bottom line, no matter what you choose to do Disney will definitely make it work. THroughout the entire back and forth (there was a lot of it sadly lol, silly me not making up my mind) my planner was great at listening to what i needed etc...no worries either way your day will be perfect and everything you dreamed of...we get to see the castle after all remember :)

Thank you! Which friend do you know at UT!!!! I went there too!!!! I don't know if I said this on my profile lol. I graduated Fall 06 what about you?!?!

It wouldn't be A.Waz. (abv first and last name) would it? She was in my sorority and still lives in Chicago! She's in the Bachelorette photos on the previous page and a complete sweetheart! I didn't know she was coming until the second she walked up!

We probably did! What major were you!?!?!?!?!?!

So tomorrow Im off to STL to do some wedding planning. I cannot believe this is the first of my two trips home prior to the wedding. This translates into a ton of stuff to do in very little time!

Hopefully I"ll find my rehearsal dinner dress on this trip

And i am going to start doing some preliminary program stuff too :)

Wish me luck!

They will be on the tables at the reception :) Filled with pink/green/and silver reeces and hershey kisses :)

I finally got my bridesmaid jewelry and my hair pieces!

I went back and forth with getting them a necklace but decided their dress was fine without a necklace and went with getting them bracelets instead. These were so pretty and you can actually adjust them on your wrist to fit perfectly. AND BONUS! They were only 8 bucks a piece ;)

On the wrist

In the boxes ready to go. I found some boxes that match the ones their earings came in!

I also found bridal hair stuff! I'm not sure which one I will be using, I think i'm going to go with the barrett because it matches the design on my dress perfectly.

Hair clip, that I love

I'm so glad that I've gotten that part of it done, its a big relief. Now I just have to get my rehearsal dinner dress and shower outfit :scared1:

Thank you so much :) I was worried the boxes were going to be difficult to put together but it was actually pretty easy, once my maid of honor showed me how to do it that is :worship:

honeymoon final cruise payment due

September:

Make bridesmaid shirts for EPCOT

There's probably more but thats the major stuff I can think of right now

I'm getting so excited I cannot believe its coming up so fast!

Totally different note, I really can't stand people who don't know how to RSVP! I went through a ton of drama with my Dad's Stepmom because she couldn't understand why I couldn't invite my 13 step aunt's/uncles/cousins....so I finally work it out with my eldest cousin (whom I'm closest with) to invite the three members of her family. Not to mention I sent apologies to everyone else explaing the situation. Well the deadline to RSVP to the invitations I sent out the 1st of June was July 10th. It is now August 6th...no RSVP  my grandma is swearing they are going to go but are waiting to send in the invite ....why would you do that? :confused3

So I called my cousin last week to ask what was going on...no answer... I called again this week to say that if they don't let me knwo i'm going to take them off the list....I know its harsh but for someone I see once a year I just would rather invite people who were actually excited to attend...we shall see what happens...sigh drama drama drama....:sad2:

Everything is looking great, you have got a lot done! The favors are super cute! Sorry to hear about the RSVP drama. We had lots of issues with who we were/weren;t inviting also, and I think a lot of girls on here, or anyone having a Destination wedding for that matter do. I don't think it's being to harsh because you have given them planty of time to decide. At $125 a person you can't risk paying for someone who isn't doing to show, not to mention I'm sure it's dealying a lot of your plans, such as how many favors to make. People will get over it, you have to do what you have to do.

Thank you so much! I absolutely agree, I just wish they would understand my point of view ;) I feel like I have a lot done but at the same time there's still a lot to do lol, it never ends hahaha

I got my dress! YAYAYAYA

I went to the White and Black Market and they had recentely updated their sale rack. So I found my dress :dance3:

I love it because it's elegant but casual enough to wear again to a nice dinner or whatever comes our way. The halter is similar to my bridesmaids so it works out perfectly! SO EXCITED

The favors turned out great, I love the Mickey design on the box! Ah the to do list, my advice would be to try to do a little each week, don't be like me and trying to finish up a bunch of DIY stuff a week before the wedding :rotfl:. It'll really be here before you know it! :goodvibes

I'm sorry you're going through all that with the RSVP's. I definitely agree with you. I feel like with a destination wedding especially people pretty much know right away if they're going or not. I don't get why it is so hard to send back an rsvp :confused3.

I love the dress! It's so cute and you can definitely wear it again.
