Congrats on hitting the four month mark! I'm sure it will fly by!

I'm too worried that's exactly what will happen. i think right now it seems to be flying by because i'm so pre-occupied with work and stuff. I need to focus on getting things done lol i'm getting a little behind with everything Still i'm very excited it's under four months away. it's so wierd to see three months on the countdown!

My big bridesmaid gifts came in today and I AM SO EXCITED

This is what they are going to get so far:

Upon arrival to the hotel:
T-Shirt for EPCOT bachelorette around the world day (still need to make)
Ticket to EPCOT
Card that says how AMAZING i think they are
EPCOT wine charm

Rehearsal dinner:
Mickey Mouse earnings (for the wedding day)
PHOTOBOOK!

So after going crazy thinking of what to get them, I decided a photo book would be perfect. It truly sums up our friendships and since each friendship is unique it's the perfect way to unify the gifts and make they distinct at the same time. Snapfish had a great deal last week of buy one get one free so the total cost for the books with shipping was around 65.00!

Mickey Mouse earings: i got these from a seller in Hong Kong, all four were 8.00 total. And they came in green little boxes! PERFECT

So all i have left for them is their shirts...have no clue how i'm going to do them but i'm sure somehow it will work out

I agree that the photo books are a great gift for your bridesmaids. I think that photos and written sentiments are a great way to let someone know how much they mean to you, and it is something that they can take out and look at any time that they are feeling down, or just would like a nice memory. And the earrings in the little boxes are so cute!

The photo books are great, I think the girls will love them! The earrings are so cute, I may have to go search ebay now. For the shirts you can do rhinestones, they are really time consuming and tedious to do...but they are sparkly and pretty! Or you can just buy the iron-on transfer paper and print out the image and that's much easier.

Thank you for the transfer paper idea i might just have to look into that! the idea was to call it something "trip around the world" and have a checklist of all the countries on the back that we could check it off as we went around so i just need to figure out the design

So more floral changes

Originally I had planned on naming the tables at the reception after Disney movies but now we are gong to do a more Storybook themed approach since we have been using "welcome to our fairytale" on everything.

Cinderella is my favorite not to mention a classic story so that works perfectly

We are going to use these as a main centerpiece (55.00 rental fee) for five tables and we are going to name the tables after parts of a story. We are just going to use the metal outline of the coach no floral or twinkle lights

The tables will be named as follows

1. Once Upon a Time
2. Classic Companions
3. Magical Moments
4. Villians (groomsmen)
5. Happy Ending

Our sweetheart table will more than likely fall under Fairytale Romance

I love the coaches!! I am going to have just one at my reception now because I love them so much I need them to be there lol But just a question for you, did you discuss the lack of floral with your planner? When I had my floral planner, they informed me that the reason the floral is there is because there is a little battery pack thing for the twinkle lights in there, and the flowers will hide it to make it look nicer. They told me that it was up to me what I chose, but if I didn't use floral, the black battery packs would be showing. I just wanted to share that incase you haven't discussed it with your planner.

Have you checked the 'Creative Disigns' board?
There are many very good around the world Epcot designs on there which you can just print off on t-shirt transfer paper and iron on.

We are at the 100 day mark! Yikes, I truly cannot believe time is going by as quickly as it is going by. Granted that certainly is fine with me

Things left to do:

Minimum Payment due July 12th

Welcome bags (finish)

Bridal Shower (attend) (not planning that, my MOH rules!)
Wedding Dress Alterations
Write Vows
Hotel Reservations (will be done this week)

Probably a bit more that i'm forgetting but that's a start

I am starting to get a case of excitement. So much to do and so little time to do it in.

Thank you, I really have been loving the planning stuff! You are getting close too!! I really loved the pics from your shower, mine is in September and I cannot wait! My mom and I went back and forth on whether or not it was right to invite people and not invite them to the wedding but I figure its a way to celebrate with everyone and I would hate not to have one so why not right

Report from 1st fitting!​

My apologies in advance that I don't have pictures, they were all on my mom's camera which is now on the train home

I was really worried after reading reports from alterations at David's Bridal. I actually had my Mom and Grandma ready to go to battle should they have charged us over half the dress which is what some reports had claimed. I mean why budget for a cheap dress if you have to pay half of it just to be altered

Luckily I didn't have to worry about that. David's bridal was amazing. And the grand total only came to 220!

Hem: 120.00 I knew this was going to be the most expensive part because my dress has at least 7 layers underneath it.

Sides: 65.00 For as much as I was worried about the weight i had lost and it costing a fortune to take in this was a great price as far as i'm concerned.

Bussle: 35.00 By far the biggest surprise of them all! I couldn't believe it. I did an over bussle which looked gorgeous because it showed off the beading on my train. I was worried about the price but when she told me i about fell over.

All and all it was a great experience. Except all that standing wore me out! And everytime she stuck pins in the side of the dress i thought she was going to stab me for sure But it was so great to actually feel like the dress fit me

Had so much fun...up next shoes

I am glad to hear that you had a good experience with David's and your fitting went well. I looked at dresses at David's and bought my crinoline there, and I had a really great experience there. It is too bad about the pictures - you know how we love them around here haha Hopefully you can show us some shoe pictures!

First, happy double digits!

Glad the first fitting went well! That is great that the alterations didn't cost very much. My mom was commenting the other day on how surprised she was that my dress alterations were about the same price as yours. I had been concerned because I paid over $80 to have a bridesmaid dress altered two years ago But I did have to have it taken out and the woman at Carolyn Allen's did a fabulous job, still $80 for alterations on an Alfred Angelo BM dress is a bit much lol

Oh and no worries about inviting people to the shower and not the wedding. Jackie held my shower at her house and invited a bunch of MKGR girls who didn't come to our wedding. It was just nice to hang out with all of them before the big day.
