Good Morning, to all RCers! :wave2:

Dani, Jenny & Sarah: What a lovely families, all of you! :goodvibes Gorgeous, all of 'em.

Dani, I adored... ADORED the one of Lily peeking out from around Danimal with that huge smile. So flippin' cute.

Jenny: Your hair is so pretty. :goodvibes

MM: Wowza. Nice necklace! :thumbsup2 Glad you had a great weekend.

Sarah: That sounded like a fabulous shopping trip, especially topping it off with a cupcake. :thumbsup2

Heather: :woohoo: for that pic!

Gwynne: That is so strange. Wonder if they're doing that to all resorts?

Pas:  Sending good thoughts your way.

Good Morning to my RCer family! :goodvibes

Such beautiful, happy families y'all have! You can see the joy jump out of the page! Thanks for sharing!

PAS: sorry to hear you are going through medical troubles! Those can be scary, I hope things start to turn around for you/your little one.....thinking of you and praying for better news coming your way soon!

MM: I'm not a jewelry gal, I prefer kitchen gadgets, like my red cast iron pot, my BBQ, my electric wok, lol......but I do think your necklace is BEAUTIFUL :) your hubby has good taste :) Thanks for your kind words, Candace, there have been a few wavers, but I have managed to stay strong with my resort pick! Thanks for your support, and helping me stay strong more than once!! I have fingers crossed that we will have an amazing stay, and I'll be able to come back and let you know only good things about the POLY

We had a plumbing disaster in our kitchen last night!!! I opened the cupboard door to get a dish rag, and noticed my box of quantum finish tablets where soaked......as I looked closer, I noticed a ton of water in the cabinet and thus began a scramble to find out what was happening! DH went to the basement and noticed a couple wet spots/ soft spots in our new ceiling!!! We found the leak to be in the cold water hose, one of the clips was broken. Our contractor advised DH to try and blowdry the ceiling / thankfully the water didn't break through, it just wet the drywall! The blowdryer seemed to dry it out and no further seeping was noticed.......
Thankfully, too, the fix under the sink should be relatively inexpensive if we can find a replacement hose......so glad I opened the cabinet when I did! Or the damage could have gotten much worse
Needless to say, it was a stressful Fathers Day!!!

Today is my oldest sons 20th bday! I can't believe how fast these 20 yrs have gone! Those of you with little ones, cherish your time because in a blink of an eye, they are Men and Women! :sad1: but bitter sweet too! I'm proud of the kind young man he is!

Have a wonderful Monday everyone!!! :grouphug:

Couldn't have said it better myself! You and Heather are super duper close to your trips!!!! I worked all weekend, just got back from the Dr. with the Princess and got not the greatest news. But we will stay strong

HRH and Iat RPC in September (with a mystery guest to reveal herself...)

Hi Everyone

I'm really lost, but am enjoying all the pictures!!! I think everyone here is amazing, and everyone has such beautiful families!!! I especially love Candace's new necklace!!! How fancy!!! I hope all changes are going great and everyone is doing well!!

I'm loving my iPad2!! It'll be perfect to take with me this week! My laptop is a beast with an extended keyboard. I love it for home--but not for travel. Anyone looking at the iPad should get it immediately!!

I'm not as ready as I would like to be for this week, but I will be by Wednesday night. Last week I was preparing for the garage sale, which went pretty well!!

Safe travels for Heather!! I'm debating on nails before I go... or just to go to Saratoga Springs on Thursday night :) I can't believe I'll be in Orlando in just days!! Where did time go?? Well I have a couple hours before work, so I better get to it!

Happy Monday and Hugs to All! :grouphug:

My childhood friend lives in Orlando area for 20 years now (currently Winter Park and previously Apopka, Casselberry, and Wekiva) and between us we have wealth of knowledge about the do's and don'ts of Orlando vicinity living and this Godforsaken paradise called Florida. :beach:

Mousemommy: Such a pretty necklace! And such a ingenious hubby for hiding it from you! ;)

junglecruiser, jennyjinx and disneydreamin247: Your pics with chillins' big and small are wonderful. It's so nice to see such pretty and handsome faces put with names. :goodvibes

Gwynne: Hope your ressie turns out to be CL CLV. I do not like this re-jiggering of room types. There are enough already and I am just getting the newest ones down. ...Your dress is very pretty, btw.

chimo2u: Happy 20th Birthday to DS.

:cheer2: Look at these lovely RCing ladies! :goodvibes Love the pics posted. Beautiful women and beautiful children, both little and grown.

Thanks for the recommendations on AK eats. It's a toss-up between Flame Tree BBQ and Yak & Yeti table service; you guys aren't making it easy on me -- both sound good!
What am I missing here? Aren't there three meals to be eaten each day? :confused3 I say go for both! :woohoo:

holy moly on the plumbing problem! We had one of those recently. Had to replace the bottom of the cabinet but thankfully not the ceiling underneath!

Jennyjinx - your girls are beautiful! My two dds are also dancers!

Hi and hugs to everyone else! I am off to walk with some friends. Want to lose 20 lbs before my trip in October!:rolleyes1

Posting from beautiful Lake Tahoe. We arrived Saturday afternoon after having a flat tire .... took 3 hours to get towed and fixed .... horrible heat ... my poor 15 year old malamute was having a rough time!

Then no internet!!!! Spent over 2 hours on the phone with tech services but they finally gave up and scheduled a service call for today. He installed a new modem, router ... whatever and I am now back up and running!

There is no way that I can multi-quote but I do want to say how much I have enjoyed all the pictures of the beautiful families. Aren't the RCers a great looking bunch?

Jeanette you and our little Bree are in all my thoughts and prayers. Love to your whole family. Mama Linda

They're two peas in a pod. He gets annoyed with her, and then 5 minutes later he's hugging and kissing her all over.

Even sweeter! She has got the most adorable smile. (Wish my brother and I had gotten along like that. We were evil to each other.)

What am I missing here? Aren't there three meals to be eaten each day? :confused3 I say go for both! :woohoo:

You're so right, why should I make these horrible decisions between FTB and Y&Y? :thumbsup2

Speaking of...

MM: Another gorgeous bunch! You know, not that I'm at all biased being a fellow bespectacled woman... but your glasses are just lovely.

Perhaps I'll be brave enough to post one. I'm to-the-bone wimp though. :lmao:

Pas: Thinking of you.

Silly little update from me:

Just put our deposit down for our little January jaunt... to AoA. We'll see how long that sticks. I've kinda been reading up on WWoHP. I've also been trying to turn on my kiddo to the wonders of ol' HP. :rolleyes1 I have no clue about Universal though so I've gotta start reading up in I'm going to convince the hubs that we should try a day exploring WWoHP.

I was at POP when it was open just 3 mos and everything was going smooth as could be.:thumbsup2 When in January?! A few RCers will be there for a Girls "weekend" in January too (some of us more days, some less) - wouldn't it be great if our dates crossed! ::yes::

DH has headed back down the hill to our home. My furbaby and I are still up at the cabin. DH will be back up here Friday afternoon. I lived in Tahoe years ago for years and never had any close encounters with bears until two years ago at the cabin. The people in the front house had a party and left bags of garbage outside which everyone who lives in bear country knows you never do. Fast forward to the middle of the night. I am awakened with loud noises around our cabin. Someone/something is on our front porch but I can also hear noise on the other side of our place. I look out the kitchen window and see a bear! So now I know there are 2 bears! For some unknown reason I look out a window on the other side of the house. There is a wooden fence about 5 feet from the window and on the fence doing a very good tight rope walk is a third bear! The bears finally found the bags of garbage and totally enjoyed themselves. We watched them go over the fence and all was quiet. The next day we found out it was a mother and her two 2 year old cubs but they were big!

So the reason I've just told you all this is that I'm up here with my furbaby. Now because she is old she has to go outside in the middle of the night. I am a very funny sight going outside at night now .... porch light on, flashlight on, lots of noise openning the door, pot and lid to make lots of noise to scare away any bears that may be lurking around .... sure hope bears are really scared of loud noise!!! :rotfl2:

How do you do??? (It's only been over a year...lol) :goodvibes

I am so glad to meet all of you!! What a sweet family you have....I am so glad you posted pics too!

Wow!! This story has me shaking!! DH encountered a bear in Northern Ontario from really really far away and we still ran like stink!! You saw three on your porch and around your cabin! Yikes!

Hang in there! I think it is true they are scared of noise so I am sure you will be ok....!!!

Found them dani! Your family is precious! I love the pic of your baby girl asleep in the stroller! Those days seem so far away for me. My baby girl is 7 now!

Mousemommy1: What a beautiful family you have! :goodvibes And that necklace is absolutely stunning!

I hope everyone's weekend was nice! My dad wasn't home for Father's Day because he is covering the NBA Finals, but I got to celebrate Father's Day with my family, grandparents, two of my Unlces and one of my cousins. My grampa's birthday was yesterday too so we celebrated that. My mom, sister, brother and I went to the Cubs-Red Sox game. It was a short walk from my uncle's apartment. :D

I found out last night that I will have another niece/nephew! My niece turned 2 yesterday and I unfortunately missed her birthday party on Saturday due to work. DBF's sister gave her a necklace, that she had her mother-in-law put on her, that said "Big Sister". No one knew besides a select few people. Not even the grandparents knew. Everyone was so excited! It was such a cute way to say that she is pregnant. What's funny is that her cousin is also pregnant and they are due a couple of days apart. I cannot wait to meet my niece/nephew in January! :lovestruc I may not be an actual aunt because DBF and I aren't married, but I have known DBF's niece since the day she was born and I definitely consider her my niece and I love her to pieces. :goodvibes
