Kook, I lurk around the YC/BC thread but until we get back from California I am not really obsessing about that trip yet. No worries...I will become obsessed soon!

Someday, I think you should plan a CL trip, a night, CL at each resort. You can then post reviews of your trip! What do you think?!

magic, you aren't old! I can tell at least from your posts, you are young at heart! Next time you come up NJ way, I will grab Jeanette and Janet and we will have a RC meet, NJ style!

Nice save to magic and Kook for calling people from NJ, colorful and chatty. We have been called worse Real Housewives of NJ (which I DO NOT watch) has not been helpful for NJ's image!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. We did some yard work earlier, and are both tired. A good excuse to do nothing and curl up with a good book after dinner while my DH watches the "subway series". (that's the Yankees vs the Mets for those of your not from the area)!

hello my friends! I'm just checking in to say, I'm still here! life is plodding along, checking off days on my countdown.....only 110 left! It's coming quickly! I am so happy and content with my choice to stay with the POLY regardless of negative reviews. I've heard just as many great reviews, so I think I'm going to be fine it'll have to be something major to burst my idyllic POLY bubble

I'm still here reading along with all of you, but since I'm pretty settled, I don't have much new to post at this moment, just wanted to check in though and say HI and Happy Saturday!

Where do you guys find all the negative reviews? Every since I've joined the Dis the Poly has been the most popular resort on here. You're going to love it.

Mm Congrats on the Mickey mail. I made so many changes after the 45 day mark I got 12 of them. The even fedex'd me one to the BWI. I've grown to hate Mickey mail. It's just a reminder of what a nutty RC'r I am.

Another ticker change coming tommorrow. It's major a date change, but that could lead to resort changes depending on availabilty.

Everything was correct on our Mickey Mail...I was truly nervous it would be all messed up due my frequent changes...

I didn't get my DME tags though, but apparently those come separately. As the CRO agent said "to ensure no changes affect the info" She obviously doesn't know about pro RC'rs that change up until the day of...

I am super exhausted....DD8 had a softball parade and then a double header today. We were at the field from 10:30 am until 5 pm. Then we went out to dinner with some friends. Of course DD has a game at 9 am tomorrow too...I think I'll be packing it in early tonight.

No no waiting. I'm going to change our trip to early December. We will go in Dec 2012, May 2013, and October 2013. This gives us Christmas, Flower and Garden festival, and the Food and wine. I think will get the most out of our AP's this way. I'm sure there will be that short spontaneous 4th trip that we didn't plan. I'm also changing our cruise to the DREAM in late Oct. I'm not planning on any 17 day marathon trips this time nor do I plan on staying CL. I will keep them to 7-10 days. I have to save for that cruise.You may even see me spending a few days in a mod or AOA next year.Hopefully not.

Good. I think it's the only resort I will stay Cl again except the Hrh of course. I may change my mind when I have teenage boys.They already eat so much, and their toothpicks. I'm seriously worried about my food bill when they reach puberty.

I hear you about the food bill! $500 a pay at Costco is a drop in the bucket for us, with our two boys! (16/ and soon-to-be 20 in 9 days!!! [where'd my baby go? ]......club level suits us well! PolyCL//HRH CL will get their use from us this fall

So my friend, who was at WDW around the same time as Pas said she would try and convince her parents to let me tag along with them on their trip to WDW in January! I doubt they will say yes, but it would be awesome if they did! I would love to go with her parents in October for the F&W Festival, but that would be awkward. Her family owns at OKW so that would be a cool experience! Crossing my fingers that I get to go even though there's like a 1% chance of going.

Glad you're happy with your choice! No negatives from me about the Poly!! My family LOVED it....especially Faith, as she still says this is where she wants to go. Our rooms were in the perfect location for the firework viewing each night. If you look in my signature, my Poly TR link is there...I have links on the first page of CL Reviews and rooms so you don't have to go through the whole thing...it's a bit long.

So we are definitely doing a week in late sept./early Oct. my kids have four days out of school plus the weekend (we'd thru mon) but I might take them out mon and tues as well. This will be our last chance to do this as dd will be in high school the following year and their days off won't match. I also don't think I will be able to pull her out.

I am booked at BC but very torn. This will be our fourth year in a row at F&W which is mine and dh's favorite. But with TT down or repairs my kids aren't going to be too happy. Also it seems like a lot of Fantasyland will be opening up in the next few years. With the opening of Carsland at DL, this could be good year to go. It also might be a good year to do a cruise. We have never done either. I am watching airfare to both states and I guess whichever one has the best deal first will win.

So for those of you that add days, do you drive? I feel like once I book airfare, we are going to be locked in. Right now, I am booked with FD which requires that we check in on sat. It is such a huge disc for us that I can't push my reservation into the next week (so kids would miss less, or perhaps no school) unless a new offer comes out. I feel like I need to settle on the dates and the coast lol so I can get busy with ADRs. I only have a couple so far.

Faith loves to fish with her dad!...especially when the boys aren't with them. Thanks for compliment, and by the way...you CAN do that on Photobucket It's fairly simple. It's basically a beginner's tool for editing. Most serious photographers use other complex programs that I don't have the time to figure out...nor the patience

We (I) usually do add days, but we live right outside of Savannah which is only around a 4hour and 45 minute drive...pretty close. If we were flying, I'm not sure that adding days would be so easy. We were up in the air about the cruise thing, too because we've never done one through Disney and I didn't want the kids to miss the parks. So, we'll be trying it in a couple of weeks! I'll let you know how it goes

Not sure what to tell you about the resort dilemma Have you ever stayed over in the MK area? I'm not a good one to ask about MK resorts...I'm so partial to them My kids just love the monorail and whole atmosphere over there.

There was a good TR that I read about DL...I'll find the link and post it for you.

Not trying to nitpick - just for the record, the one bedroom Kidani and Bay Lake Tower villas have kings in the master and the FW cabins have only a double in the bedroom.

I don't know why I remember Kidani as having a queen bed not a king. I couldn't even picture a king, (even after I pulled up my pictures). My brain is fried!!!!

Our grades were in on Friday. Where are you in NoVa???? Did I know that you and I were both in NoVa???? (Repeat, my brain is FRIED!!!)

We are flying out of Regan this year instead of Dulles. We've never flow out of Regan and prefer Dulles because it is closer to our home.

We decided to go for the FOTL access offered at Lowes hotels for US/IOA and we discovered that Hilton Grand at SeaWorld offers FOTL access for Seaworld as well. It is so HOT at that time that we love the ease of walking on rides. We have Busch Garden Platinum Passes so we'll be going to Aquatica and SeaWorld.

Hstrickland We bought Ap's May 2011, and made trips Oct 2011, Dec 2011 and then back againg before Ap's expired May 2012. The cost of the trips isin't so bad once you have the Ap's. It's the Cost of the Ap's thats shocking.
