Morning all!!
I don't even know where to start

I feel like I've been gone for a month. It really felt like a long trip! I have lots to catch up here at work. My last day is May 31, so I'm thinking of just waiting to start my TR until I have time off. I feel like I'll be able to do it right if I'm taking the time. I don't want to spoil much---but I can't keep you guys waiting, so I'll give you a sneak peek of the resort stuff!
POR: Way better than I ever imagined. Grounds were gorgeous, the room was immaculate and beautiful, there were new H20 toiletries in the Royal Rooms, the food court was great (and we normally don't eat at the food court), but the boat ride to DD was crowded--and there was often a line. It was quicker to take the bus. Bus service was pretty good for being a large resort and it wasn't far from the Royal Rooms over the bridge. Upon arrival, I was loving it so much that I was kicking myself for throwing the extra 4 figures out to stay deluxe. We'd definately come back, and I'd definately book a RR again!!! I'm glad we booked a garden view and requested 3rd floor--I would do that again!
POLY CL: Here's were the tour of the garden views takes a detour. We were upgraded to TPV!! We were the last room on the 3rd floor. The view was breathtaking, we watched Wishes from our balcony, and felt like we were in paradise!!!!! The room was large--and we loved that. We both like lots of space! Yes, there was a touch of wear/tear on the furniture and walls--but unless you were really looking for it--the view outside totally takes your mind away from it. I'm not a fan of the bathroom having the sink/shower in the same place--but it was okay

I like to continue getting ready while DH is in the shower--but again, totally minor. We were pixie dusted on our arrival day--but you'll have to wait for the TR for that! We went to the pool our second day, but had to get out after 10 minutes for an "unexpected cleaning", then the entire resort crowded in the quiet pool--so we gave up. CL was definately different here. The lounge was huge and pretty packed compared to the YC and Tower Club that we've previously tried. DH kept commenting on how many kids were running up and down the hall like animals--but hey--we're in WDW. There was a minor slip with the IPO, but it was taken care of in a couple calls

I do feel completely spoiled with the view and would definately dish the $$ to stay TPV again. Poly also got new H20 toiletries... I love them!!
YC CL: Before we even left Poly to check out, I got a text that our YC room was available. We were escorted to the 5th floor, immediately handed our keys and we were off to our room. I also immediately noticed that we had an odd numbered room. Holy monkey--we were upgraded again! We were the 3rd from the end of the YC

It was a longggggggg walk, but we had an amazing view of Stormalong Bay and the Boardwalk. We were right above the pool. I had only placed a request of "King Bed", and we didn't get it. We had 2 queens at POR and Poly, so by this time, we didn't care. This room had some wear and tear for sure, and felt super small compared to our room at the Poly. Had we not stayed at the Poly right before, we wouldn't have noticed. The bathroom was set up to my liking, however there was a little mold issue above the bathroom door. I called and it was promptly cleaned-and cleaned well. I didn't want to move because I liked my view, lol. YC still had H20 aquatics toiletries that we were used to. The walk to Epcot, and the boats were great--however I can not explain how much I HATE the busses here. This is why we decided we love the MK/Epcot split. CL here was great again for us. The offerings were great, fresh and yummy. The staff enforced little ones wearing shoes. They also are keeping a few snacks and drinks open all night--which to me is great. I really liked making a fresh cup of tea when I come back from the parks before bed. They said they aren't advertising this, but have been doing it for a bit and it's been working fine. To me--it's a great thing. We spent lots of time in Stormalong Bay which wasn't very crowded. We even tried the slide which was super fast, lol. The YC did not disappoint, and next time I will just ask to be closer to the lounge, lol. They were also painting in the hallways and on the outsides. It was a bit messy, but at least it was getting done.
I'm sure I have other thoughts that I'll pull together in my TR, but I have a bunch of people coming up to ask about my trip, and I've lost myself, lol. If you have questions

Ask! I'll try to upload photos this weekend. I dropped my camera in the sand and it is pretty much dead. It didn't work the last few days of our trip and I'm ready to just go buy a new one

I actually really like it, and will probably get the same exact one.
Side Note: We used Bell Services to swap luggage both times instead of a taxi--and it was great--we would do it again.
I have a lot to catch up on... I could sureeeeeeee use a recap! After I pay bills today, and sit and stare at the calendar--I'm going to try to make a plan for the fall. We both want to hit DL and WDW, but I don't know how it will be possible. He wants an MK resort split with YC. That's fine and dandy.... but which MK

I'm sure I'll just keep switching around the monorail

Today I will call and see if any of my tentative dates have the Poly Honeymoon Suite available, if not--I'll probably put a hold on a Deluxe King RPC. What in the world happened to the Little Mermaid

Deluxe resorts have my heart.

I truly to see what everyone is talking about at the Polynesian. Being in the Hawaii building was close to everything, especially the boat, the view, the staff--it was amazing. I also liked that when we went to the YC, it was quiet, and there were far less children running the hallways. Although there were no constant Aloha's at YC... they all knew us by name and knew about our plans for the day. I felt way closer to the YC staff than the Poly.
This has taken me 3 hours to write with interruptions, lol. Hello to all

I missed you guys!!!
Dani: Sorry you're having trouble at work--I hope it gets better.
