I'm happy for you and DS--when you see a spark from someone who is less than motivated... it's a real sign of hope!! I've been reading good Poly reviews lately too! I'm really excited to try it out. Things come full circle right?? Remember when I had the Poly Honeymoon Suite booked I'm very curious to see what the DIS fave resort is all about!! Hope you're feeling stronger today... sending prayers your way



Well it has helped the pain a bit. I'm supposed to take 1 or 2, 4x per day. I take 1 twice per day. I guess it would help the pain more if I took 2--but it's an improvement and I may work my way up. A friend of mine said that it took her about 7-10 days to get thru the side effects and that it's really helped her. So I'm willing to give it a shot.

I have my 3 way split all set. Last night I said I was going to wait till payday to make the change (so I would at least have a few $$ in my account until Thursday), but I got itchy this morning and went ahead with it. Passion was a great CM and got thru the madness quickly (17 minutes). Super efficient, and didn't seem to mind that I am crazy. She had to:

1: Book Poly w/ AP discount
2. Drop a day off of POR
3. Change from River View to Garden View
4. Transfer $$ from POR to Poly
5. Drop a day from YC
6. Transfer $$ from YC to Poly
7. Take a Visa payment
8. Go over everything one more time

It was rather painless and I left her good survey results!! I did online check in at POR today So I think everything is all set. My resorts will be Paid in Full on Friday, which is nice to not have to worry about that when we arrive! The change will affect our excess spending money a bit--but we are really happy to check out different places. I can officially say that I'm going to WDW next week

WOW..happy dance for you!!! It does sound like you are going to have an amazing trip! I don't know much about your health issues but it sounds like you're going through alot too. I hope this vacation gives you a magical break!!

I was just asking questions, honest! I do not see myself forking over money to stay there right now, with all of the construction and monorail issues, etc...but, it is DD7's dream resort...so I was looking towards the future...

And, as for CL at WL, DH and I just don't see the value in it for our family, but we are going to keep tabs on our OOP for breakfasts, and other food this time around while on the DDP, and we are going to analyze CL vs. DDP for our next trip with DFIL.

Right now, I believe we have the best trip ever planned, although I had to change an ADR today, I moved Chef Mickey's to our last day of the trip...I originally had it as our last Poly day before moving to BC.

Oooohh the GF! We explored there when we had dinner at 1900, what a beautiful place!! Totally different then WL....but maybe next time for you? Did you have a problem changing your ADR this close?

It's so nice to hear about trip planning on this thread! That sounds like such fun to go to Chef Mickey's on your last day.

We're regular at WL for our upcoming stay, too. Roaring Forks is really handy for quick meals and snacks while you're at the resort. I particularly like that it's so close to the pool. There's lots of seating inside, if you prefer that, but also just a few steps outside there are plenty of tables around the pool.

One of these days, I'll try CL at WL, but it's not in the cards for this trip, and that's OK. The good part is WL is one of those places that makes a vacation easy.

That's a great idea to keep tabs on some costs and use the information to help decide on future trips.

I read somewhere that it might be possible to get dessert from Artist Point in the Territory Lounge. I think we'll ask when we stop by there one evening. That would be both delicious and fun!

Thank heaven I have this thread to talk about our change to WL. I haven't told anyone in my family...think I'll surprise them the night before. Meanwhile, I can't help but smile! We're on the countdown!

Yeah, my girls LOVE Chef Mickey's! It's ok for us, but we really wanted to try Ohana breakfast...we were overruled. Oh well, we are trying Ohana for dinner for the 1st time, so I am excited about that, and on my birthday to boot!!!

I am very excited. We got a woods view bunk bed room, my girls are uber excited about that (and so are we...it might mean DH and I actually get to share a bed...) For some reason, at Disney, DH always sleeps with older DD and I always sleep with younger...I think they get a little nervous in hotels, unfamiliar surroundings... but they promise they'll use the BB's!!!

It must be soooo hard keeping a secret...we did that for our last trip and it was awful, and when I made the move to the WL, older DD said she didn't want to know where I had switched to...but I hounded her all weekend until she let me tell her.

I actually did not have an issue changing the reservation, they had quite a few times available. I think the whole CC hold is having an effect. By the way, I like how you referenced my trip as being "this close". It got me all excited!!!

Several of my friends are down at WDW right now, but my really good friend who was staying at ASMu just texted me the new room they are staying at because ASMu was apparently mobbed with teenage sports groups...they got moved to a Royal Room, and she's texting me all of these pics...it is gorgeous!!! She knows me and what shots are important to get...it looks amazing!!!

Yes...DH has again mentioned May 2013, and now we will have our new ride...oh yeah!!! Maybe we will save some $$$ and drive down!! Where to stay though...POR? AOA? Back at Poly?? Oh the possibilities! Now I just need to figure out if we buy AP's in Sept or in May and go back Dec 2013 too? I think that might make more sense. BUT...if we got AP's in Sept maybe we could sneak in a short trip this X-mas...

Oh, the possibilities are endless!!!! Once we get our budget set for our April 2013 trip, I'll have a better idea of whether we'll sneak in anymore during our Year of the AP

Our April trip will be another long one, 8-10 nights, so that will take precedence. Once that's "planned", I will plan what else I can do....

33 days til Wilderness Lodge....In less than 1 month I WILL BE IN FLORIDA!!!!!!! Since I have a room only...I have 28 days to ch-ch-change & waffle away Sorry about your friend, I did pray for her in the chapel last night

I can't wait.....I may have mentioned a split stay to the girls this morning......Beach Club was the choice.....but my girls like to waffle a bit too

Nice!!! When I go it's the Girl Scouts 100th anniversary..they will be at Sports I think...and if AoA has to delay its opening I wonder if they will move people to the moderates as well....

The resort and RR look lovely. 2 RR cost less than 1 GV Poly room...not that I have checked
