Arusha savanna view best?

I had read that the Arusha savanna view is the best. I also heard that the Uzima savanna view is pretty good also. I just requested the Arusha view for our June trip. Has anyone seen these views personally? Are they really the best views? We purchased AKV last summer and this will be our first DVC trip there. What kinds of animals can be seen from these rooms?

We just got back and had both views (two rooms) and preferred Arusha. Uzima had animals but the view itself was not as pretty - they are all nice so you really cannot lose.

I can't compare the two savannas because we've only stayed in an Arusha savanna view villa. The next time we stay at AKV we will request this savanna again. It's quite large and always seemed to have many caretakers feeding the animals throughout the day. The feeder bins are fixed structures scattered throughout the savanna so it was pretty cool to see the CM fill them up.....a minute or two later 3 girraffe (or zebra, etc.) would mosey on by to the feeder. This savanna seemed to have a wide variety of animals, maybe because it's the main one.

Arusha is the best (no people pens.) Uzimi is my least favorite. Sunset is second choice after Arusha. Sunset has the river pigs!

I am hoping that Sunset ultimately willl be the best. That is the one that all of Kidani will have I believe.

Too much overlook of the "people pen" for my taste and I'm not a huge fan of the tommies/gazelles. I prefer the zebras, river pigs, etc. on the other savannas.

Kidana will have its own savanna. The river pigs will be moving to the new savanna (if I'm remembering correctly from our sunset safari in December and I believe I am...)

Thanks for the tip on Arusha Savanna. We've stayed at AKL twice and not gotten the central one either time. I think I'll call and request it for our next stay - I wasn't aware specific savannas could be requested!
