Enjoy a unique dining and shopping experience in a warm, inviting environment inspired by an artist's loft.

Thanks in advance

Hi Leigh! Since Saratoga Springs just opened on May 17, I don't know if any DISer's have had a chance to check out Artist's Palette yet. It does sound intriguing though, doesn't it? I'm the only non-artist in my family, so I'll be anxious to hear reviews of this one.

I was hoping this would be similar to the restaurant on the Disney Cruise Line that I've heard about, but apparently it's not.

I did a search and people who have just returned say that it's a counter service / grab and go place. :(

It is suppose to be a food court..with some gourmet selections, as opposed to the same old stuff. New style with the shopping and food court all in the same large area.

I took a peek over there on opening day. They have a dining area set up, sort of cafeteria style and very open with windows facing the pool. On one wall there are items for sale such as shirts and towels. The other wall has grocery items. In the middle is the cashier. Along the back wall is the food line.

It is counter service with a limited menu of sandwiches, salads, entrees and desserts. They offer one special each day too (that day it was BBQ ribs). The kitchen features a wood burning stove for pizzas, etc.

I asked for a printed menu but they didn't have one yet.

My roommate works at SSR, and we had lunch at Artist's Pallette a couple of weeks ago.
They have lots of unique selections, including the very yummy bbq pork flatbread pizza, gourmet sandwiches, delicious seasonal soups, and large salads.
They also offer family-sized meals to go (intended for guests staying at the villas who want to eat together in their own dining rooms). Family meals include lasagna and (I believe) roasted turkey breast. AP is also a merchandise location, and they sell Saratoga Salsa and bottled spring water direct from Saratoga Springs, NY.

The building also serves as the clubhouse for the LBV golf club, and the resort's lounge, The Turf Club (adjacent to AP), offers a bar and snacks during the day.

Thanks all for your responses...Forever 42, I was hoping as well it was like the one of the cruise line but it looks as if we are out of luck...

I ate dinner there this past Wednesday. It's not the typical hamburgers, french fries, hot dogs fare, rather nice for a change. I had the chicken parmesan, which was really delicious. There was a nice selection of desserts, hard to pick just one, but I settled on the carrot cake. Only downside was that I thought it was kind of pricy for a food court-$15.60, and that was just for one person. And I don't remember a child's menu. They did have some salads that appeared less expensive.
