Artist's Palette Questions

We're thinking of buying into SSR and from what I can see, the dining options are pretty slim. Can anyone tell me the hours for Artist's Palette? And is there anywhere at the resort to get a burger and fries (like you'd get at a food court at another resort)?

How late are eateries open at the DTD Marketplace?

Also, I'm guessing there's no room service because this property isn't connected to a regular hotel, correct?

I don't recall burgers and fries being on the menu there, but McDonald's is just across the way in DTD Marketplace. No room service either that I know of except for pizza delivery.

No room service at SSR. Didn't see a burger and fries on the menu at the Artist's Palette and I THINK they close at 11pm, but I can't remember for sure.

Definitely no burgers/fries and no room service. When we asked the front desk about ordering pizza they gave us the phone numbers for Dominos, Pizza Hut and Papa John's. We were told that we would have to pick up the pizza at the front desk as most delivery men would not deliver to individual rooms. We called Papa John's, gave them our room number and they brought it right to our door.

No burgers and fries at Artist's Palatte and they do close at 11:00. DTD has McDonald's, Earl of Sandwich (oh..I need a Earl of Sandwich fix...), Wolfgang Express and Rainforest Cafe. There is also a little food stand in front of the World of Disney. Not sure what time these places close... maybe someone else can answer that one.

But they have the best chocolate cake at Artist's Palette. My son thought it was heavenly and must have had at least three pieces while we were there.

Just returned from SSR. Had a great time. Spent quite a few nights at DTD and the restaraunts close at 11:00 pm.

not sure what part of Nova Scotia you are from, we traveled there as as kid and you pic looks like the same spot we were in!!! I don't remember much, just camping there, looking down and seeing this beautiful beach, (not the sandy kind), just like the one your kids are in!! Taking this little car ferrout to another island, lighthouses, and lobster traps in everyones front yard!!!

Sorry, I know totally of topic, but just brought back a bunch of memories!
