Hi everyone,

I have Palio ress for my second night, 9:00pm (4 night wonder)
If it is Artist Palate night- would we have time to see the color change show?
Also is there some kind of show for Tritons or Parrot restaurants? Thanks again for your info.:surfweb:

Animators palate the color show goes throughout the meal with videos etc, but the final bit is at coffee time after your sweet, say approx 7.30 on early. If you are on early sitting you can do it.

Please don't get your hopes up thinking that it is a real "show"....it is cool to see and is impressive when you think about the technical part of it...but it is not really a "show" with performers. The dining room will change to color from black and white during the course of the meal. The music also becomes more "dramatic" as the dining room fills with color. By the end of the meal the entire dining room is awash in color instead of black and white....even the servers "uniform" changes color. Many people see it and say "that's it...that was all the hype was about"....and others rave that it was wondorus (sp)....I fall somewhere in the middle as I have seen it 16 times....keep in mind your mileage may vary.

And yes....they also do this for the late seaing but if you have 9:00 Palo ressies you won't see the end product. Dinner is usually over around 10 ish for late seating.

Well I still have a chance not to have Artist Palate on my second and third nights. I may luck out and just miss the Parrot restaurant that night. Palio should make up for it anyway.

I may be the odd one out but I would rather see Animators than Palo. Palo for us was good but not as good some make it seem. We loved the regular dining rooms. HOwever we will do Palo on our 15 night b/c the shrimp and desserts were great. However the food in the dining room was great too.

You can call DCL and request a dining rotation. They will say that they can't promise anything but I have done it twice and gotten my first choice both times.
