Tara loves Art, and whenever we go to BC for b-fast or dinner she looks for him. Like others she likes to trade pins with him too.

I will have to look, not sure if I have a photo of them together! She will stop and chat with him while I go check in at the restaurant!

I don't have a photo to contribute bc I my DH and I met Art on our honeymoon 11 years ago (pre-digital camera revolution), but I can tell you he is one of our most wonderful memories of our honeymoon trip to WDW. The day we checked in he greeted us and made us feel like the whole hotel was there just for us. He found out we were honeymooners and congratulated us so sincerely. We said hello to him, and he to us everyday. We never realized he was such a celebrity until we were watching the Travel Channel's special on The Beach Club, and there he was. My DH and I both squealed, "Oh my gosh! It's Art!!!!" He really made our honeymoon (and MY first trip to WDW ever!) that much more magical. Someday we hope to stay there again with our 2 children and introduce him to them as well.

We're staying at the BC in early November and I'm going to try very hard to get some pictures of Art and my family. I can't wait to meet him! I saw him on the Travel Channel and heard so much about him here.

didn't have the slightest idea he is such a celebrity.
I just thought he was so warm & welcoming. When I explained I wasn't a guest but just gawking, he pointed out some of the highlights of things I might like to see at the BC & in the Boardwalk area.

He made me feel very special and very welcomed.

Let me add here, that I am a homely, tubby little woman and not accustumed to such beautiful treatment!

Art is Disney Magic!
I think he should be immortalized in one the the Disney cartoon features.

Thanks for undertaking this wonderful tribute to a lovely human being who has made thousands feel that special Magic!

My wife, daughter and I have had the pleasure to visit with Art for several years. The secret to his magnetism is that he is genuine. What draws everyone to Art is his sincerity and the humble way he interacts with everyone.

I'm sure Disney knows what a treasure they have in Art, but it would be nice to see some kind of special tribute to him...at the Beach Club, of course.

I don't know if anyone else mentioned it but there is a close up picture of Art in the current Disney World brochure. I think the picture has been in the brochure for years.
